The plumbers came the day I called, figured out where the problems were coming from, maped out what parts were needed for each job. They needed some parts to be sent to them. They arrived the next day around 11:00 AM and worked their way through each project. They had to replace pipe in the basement and in the main bathroom as well as re-do the balast correctly for the instant water heater. It was very near what I thought it might cost. The house is 75 plus years old and. The replacement pipe in the main drain from upstairs was original so the repair was much needed. The 2 plumbers were polite, made sure they did not leave a big mess and took the broken stuff with them.

The crew arrived right on time and it took them right around 30 minutes to replace the water heater. They did a great job and were very professional. I've used Water Tight for services in the past and they always do a great job.

Adam appeared on time.  His portion of the task was to install a water meter on the newly installed city water hookup, and re-route the well to an outside faucet.  The work was properly done in a professional manner and Adam readily answered my few questions about the new configuration.  He left the area clean when the work was completed.  We were well satisfied with the experience.

He was the only plumber to return my call at 9pm on a Saturday night. REALLY appreciate Steve getting back to me like that. Solved my basement flooding issue, the sewage backup into my bathroom, and installed outside access so this never happens again. Steve and his team are very responsive and patient (I was in over my head being a single home owner with no family nearby). Thank you and I will definitely use your service in the future!

It didn't go well. Once the plumber surmised the situation, It was explained to me that a man is not alway accurate with his aim into the toilet bowl and this would be one reason for moisture collection at the floor. The other reason is that toilet tanks can sweat and drip down onto the floor. To me, the problem seemed to be deteriorating from behind the wall. I asked him if the seal was leaking and causing the damage and he insisted it was not leaking. I don't know how he came to this conclusion since he didn't flush the toilet or use a flashlight to inspect this scenario. (We didn't get into the probability regarding how much or how long poor aiming would take its toll, and we did reason that the factor of the cool weather would not cause a toilet tank to sweat that is typical in warmer environments and this house climate is maintained as such it doesn't cause sweating in the bathrooms.). Next, We went into the room below and looked for wetness in the wall or ceiling and none was found.

So, I was charged $45 for the service call and did not receive any root cause to the deteriorating condition. I was hurriedly trying to get the house ready to sell and needed a plumbing service company that could get this fixed and didn't have time to fiddle around with inexperienced plumbers. I called on another company I had used in the past. When their plumber arrived, he brought a flashlight, flushed the toilet and bingo, water dripped right down the side of the packing seal and onto the exposed wood. He had this figured out in about one minute - the time it takes to flush and force water past the seal.

I had intended to call this company and let the owner know what happened, but we have been overwhelmed with other selling and moving activities and just procrastinated until I forgot it until a 'Thank You for your business card' arrived the other day. Well, I called and left a message asking the owner to call me. Instead, the customer service manager called and asked me what my issue was that I needed to speak to the owner about. So, I shared all of the above and when I got to the part about my need to move quickly and get this figured out by an outfit I could rely on, she started talking over me. That's when I suggested that it would be appropriate to reimburse me, and well that really set her off. She said I should have called them back requesting they send a more qualified person to look at the problem and figure out a solution. (REALLY?!?!). So, no reimbursement since I didn't give them a second chance to fix my plumbing problem. The $45 was not my primary concern, but it became the core of the issue after I realized it was their core because they (she) didn't give a rip about receiving customer feedback. You see, the "second chance" notion had me pretty wound up. Before hanging up I mentioned they might want to check out Angie's List for further comments from me. I gave the owner the rest of the day and never heard from him or her. (I hope this feedback is of some value to you. Sorry it came to this. If you had called me back I would have shared this and one other instance you would have gained some insight.)

Summary: inexperience shouldn't be your customers' first impression, rude customer service is inexcusable and business owners should always be improving customer experience and satisfaction. Frankly, Thank You letters are passé! So, here we are! Oh, and I let the person who referred me know how shoddy this was for me and passed along the name of the top-rated plumbing service I used.

The plumber showed up at 9AM Friday, 5/30 to replace pipes off of my hot-water heater and to replace an outdoor faucet.  After arriving, he quickly discovered that some the pipe to be replaced was attached improperly to the house pipe.  This would require him to cut out the pipe to be replaced and thread the house pipe.  As he was not informed of this by the original plumber who reviewed the project in early May, he did not have the correct tools and hardware to complete this task.  He explained what the issue was to me and explained that they would need to come back and that someone would call to set up an other appointment.  Also, no trip fee would be charged for the future work.  He did install the outdoor faucet and replaced some out-of-date piping inside where the faucet connected.  Price: $280
I did not hear from the company, so I called on Wednesday, 6/3 to set up the appointment.
Two plumbers came to replace the pipes a little after 10AM on Tuesday, 6/10.  They worked very quickly, explained what they did, and showed me what they took out.  Also, I mentioned that the aforementioned outdoor faucet was dripping a bit when in use.  They were more than happy to take care of it and fixed the issue under 90 seconds.  Price: $449
Nice work!

When the leak was finally found, the service was just fine.  They fixed it well, and the charge was acceptable.  The only problem I had was that they had to come twice.  The first time, they said, "it's not a plumbing problem".  That was a little strange.  I then had a contractor come out and break the adjoining wall.  There was certainly a leak!  I called Steve.  He came out personally then called his crew to come in and fix it.  I was happy with the result, but I would have much preferred to have the leak found on their first trip out.  Overall, I'd use them again.

Steve neither showed or called. I called him after 1:00PM and asked what happened. The office had Steve call me at which time he explained he had a flat on a trailer that was the focus of his attention and apologized asking to reschedule. After losing a half days pay I am reluctant to offer him another chance.

Friendly and efficient.
Gave me the name of a person who could come that day so work could be finished the next morning.

Two workers showed up on time, and got to work right away.  They actually listened to my explanation of what I thought the problem was, and discussed the work with me before they did it.  Accepted the Angie's List coupon without argument or complaint.  Really nice, friendly guys too.

Promptly showed up on time, plenty of help, changed water heater out in record time, got a deal on a 50 gal water heater to replace 40 gal.  Very happy with service, friendly crew and provided helpful hints.  This is definitely the plumbing service I would recommend an continue to use.

Our daughter managed to drop a medicine bottle down the toilet and flush, we couldn't get it out for the life of us. We found water tight on Angie's list and called Sunday afternoon, they were able to schedule us for first thing Monday morning. Thomas showed up on time and knew just what to do, he had to pull the toilet out of the bathroom and thought he might not be able to get it free for a while but was finally successful. He applied the Angie's list coupon and we were back in business in under an hour. We haven't needed plumbers very frequently so I don't have much to compare price to but it seemed a bit much for 45 mins of work

Steve arrived within 20 minutes of my call.  I was a bit freaked out because my son had apparently flushed some paper towels in the toilet.  There was evidence of water in the basement, although it was not backed up at the time.  Steve pulled out all of his equipment and prepared to rod the line, but after having me run water and flush the toilet several times he determined that whatever had caused the problem had worked itself out on it's own.  We ran more water to be certain with the same results.  He then packed his equipment back up and told me that there would be no charge!  I'm very grateful for his honesty (he could have just rodded the line and taken my money) and his kindness (he could have at least charged me for coming).  I will definitely be calling him for any future plumbing issues that I have!

We installed new counter tops in the kitchen on a Friday.  Friday afternoon the plumber originally contracted to reconnect the faucet and disposal was a no-show and no-contact.  We selected another plumber from Angie's List, Water Tight Plumbing and Sewer.  I called the office and explained the problem.  Water Tight sent one of their plumbers within 30 minutes.  He completed the connections within an hour, saving us for the weekend.  We highly recommend Water Tight Plumbing and Sewer and will use them for all plumbing needs going forward!

From the start I enjoyed working with Steve. He was on time for the initial appointment and took the time to explain his proposal. His plumber Tomas performed all the work and did a great job. Steve came by to review the work and to ensure my satisfaction. Bottom line: the work came out great and there were no surprises. I would not hesitate to hire Water Tight Plumbing again should the need arise.

The pipes from my sump pump developed a major leak and were leaking into my basement. I called Water Tight at 11:45 pm and was told that they had no one available until 7:00 am Monday morning. The hours listed on their Angie's List page are from 12:00 am to 11:30 pm on Monday. Extremely unhappy with their lack of response.
