"I had Biango Construction complete a full gut renovation of my main floor powder room and laundry room/mudroom. This included a major change in layouts and moving walls, doors, HVAC, plumbing, gas lines, and electrical. I also had custom cabinets and hall tree built for the space. The final result is exceptional (see photos). While the time ended up taking longer than originally expected, it was worth it to have a trusted pro do the work and to deal with the permit process. The company was easy to work with, professional, and maintained a clean workspace across my house. All individuals working on my house with Nick Biango paid high attention to detail throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend Biango Construction to anyone doing renovations or wanting built-ins added to their home."

"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"I called Jakubek earlier in the year to get a quote for a kitchen remodel. I had a few requests for the remodel: take down a wall, get more counter and cabinet space and install a dishwasher (finally after 12 years in my house without one!). Dawid and Robert came out to my home and discussed with me what I wanted, took measurements and said they would need a few days to come up with a design. We worked together to adjust the design to my liking and once it was perfect, we signed the contract. Through the whole process, the Jakubek team was extremely communicative and helpful in the planning process. They listed to what I wanted and helped me achieve it. Every time I had a question, it was answered quickly and honestly. Although I picked all the finishes and colors myself, Dawid was always helpful in giving me honest opinions on whether what I picked would work and be functional in my new kitchen. He soon became a trusted advisor and I felt very confident in his recommendations. He kept me informed of the work happening on the project every day. I really appreciated the communication! They worked very efficiently and professionally. Always punctual. At the end of every day, my home was left in an organized and clean manner and they completed all the work in logical order so that the progress flowed properly. All the details were completed just as they had promised and I was really impressed with their craft. It was really enjoyable to watch it all come to reality. So I started with a kitchen remodel and ended up with a beautifully renovated home. I mentioned before that I added to the scope of work in the beginning and then added again two more times! Each time I requested the additional work, Dawid would give me all the details on cost and how it would effect the completion date. So not only did I have the kitchen done (including all new wood cabinets and quartz counters, took down the wall and moved the footprint/layout of the kitchen), I had new hardwood floors installed on my first level and had existing hardwood floors and stairs refinished on my second floor. They painted my entire first floor and upstairs hallway, installed all new trim on my doors and windows on my first and second floor and replaced all my doors too! I literally have a new house thanks to Jakubek!"
