"I had a roof approaching the end of its life. Instead of waiting for an issue, or praying for hail damage, my wife and I decided to be proactive and replace it. Since it wasn't urgent, we took our time to research companies and get multiple quotes (all of the quotes came in around the same price). We ended up signing with Shelby Roofing and Exteriors for a new roof, gutters, and siding, and have been thoroughly pleased with that decision. Their commitment to wonderful customer service was evident from the moment I called for a quote and has extended to after the job was completed. What stood out immediately to me was with the estimate. Other companies spent maybe 15 minutes at my house and handed me a quote. Luke from Shelby on the other hand took his time to evaluate everything very thoroughly and made me feel like everything was getting thought through. After that he sat down with me, went over the quote, options, and material until I had all of my questions answered. What really stood out was when he asked for my business and the opportunity to discuss it further if I was considering any other companies quotes. From there communication was great about planning, and dates. I worked with Eric on those, and like Luke before he was exceptional the entire way through. With every job he came to talk to me, review the work, and then came back to inspect and answer questions. He helped me get everything arranged to what I would say is the ideal setup for my house. Even after everything was done, I was able to reach out to Eric about help with an elbow on my gutter that I wanted to add, and he was out the next morning getting it set up. The crews that came out to do the jobs were great. They worked hard and late to get things done. I am a stickler for things getting done correctly, and I can honestly say they exceeded these expectations. We cannot be happier with the decision to go with Shelby. While price is always a consideration, it is the customer service and workmanship that puts them far above and beyond other companies. When dealing with them you will feel important, understood, and left feeling confident of your decision. If you are in need of work that they can do, you cannot go wrong by calling them. Everything was exceptional, and they have a lifetime customer who will give out their name as a referral."

"I have used Critter Control for many years. I used them because their employees were invariably knowledgeable about the various animals often telling me from clues left by the animals exactly what type of animal I was dealing with. They have now been bought out by a large company and it seems as if a lot of that knowledge has left. I recently hired them to deal with animals, I assumed possums. They have changed their pricing structure from a per animal charge to a flat fee. They explained that before hand and while pricey, I was willing to deal with it because of the good experiences I had had in the past. They came out and caught immediately a baby possum. Afterward, I got up the scat so I would know if there were others. There were although the employee thought it wasn't more scat just mud. I pointed out that when it had been fresh, it was obviously scat. I also suggested that they might want to move the traps as I did not think it reflected where the animals had been going. Long story short, they only caught the one possum and left. I hired another company and on day one, they caught two more. I won't use Critter Control again as they now seem to lack the basic knowledge that long ago drew me to them."

"I've used Trinity several times in the past for simple low cost repairs with no problems, but when I had him out to look at my AC, again, because it wasn't working things went haywire from there. He told me that I needed to replace my unit and he needed a $2,000 deposit. It took him several days to come back after that and replace my unit and then it took him 2 full days to finish making the job take almost a full week by the time it was over. I was out of town when he finished and he began to call me in the evening and first thing in the morning and all times in between demanding that I pay him the rest of the money owed right away. I thought it was crazy for him to act like that when I had just trusted him with my large deposit for days. Then, come to find out, he had damaged my furnace, not turned fuses back on, and wanted his money before I got home and found out for fear I might not pay him because of it. I paid him to go away and then called another company out to fix the furnace"
