"It went really well. Robert Carroll really knows his stuff. Hire this guy. I say that without reservation of any kind. Don't look any further, believe me, I did. This is the smartest guy. I got several estimates from A+ rated insulation companies, but Robert was more knowledgeable than the other companies. He was the only one to point out that my soffits were not vented. Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. The attic fan could run all day, but without air to move, it would not do any good. Only Robert noticed this and offered a solution to fix the problem! I asked some of the other A+ companies if they would vent the soffits and they all said they don't do that work, but they would be happy to add more insulation, which would not fix the problem if the attic was not vented."

"It went fairly well. The man in charge of giving estimates gave me confidence. The man in charge of the work was a bit of a fast talker, however. I have waited over a year to finish this review b/c I wanted to wait until I got door into the porch from the house and for cold weather to see how well the insulation works. I do not have a heat vent on the porch. Was hoping the insulation along with a small electric heater would keep it warm. The contractor thought it would be okay without a heating vent. For most part it is, but with very cold weather, the porch gets pretty cold. I may have been hoping for more than was realistic and may eventually get a larger electric heater or get a vent from my furnace if I decide to use the room more regularly."
