"We used Perma Seal for several big projects—waterproofing our basement and replacing our concrete back yard and sidewalks. We had drain tiles, sump pumps and a dehumidifier installed, along with extensive concrete work outside. We dealt with a variety of crews and found everyone to be very communicative, professional, and knowledgeable. They did great work and kept us informed at every step of the process. "It went fairly well. The man in charge of giving estimates gave me confidence. The man in charge of the work was a bit of a fast talker, however. I have waited over a year to finish this review b/c I wanted to wait until I got door into the porch from the house and for cold weather to see how well the insulation works. I do not have a heat vent on the porch. Was hoping the insulation along with a small electric heater would keep it warm. The contractor thought it would be okay without a heating vent. For most part it is, but with very cold weather, the porch gets pretty cold. I may have been hoping for more than was realistic and may eventually get a larger electric heater or get a vent from my furnace if I decide to use the room more regularly."

"I had three different people groups in who came in and gave me an estimate and what might be needed and what they discovered is that for some reason when the house was built 16 years ago, they did not really do adequate insulation.  I did feel very comfortable with Precise & Snug.  They were good about being able to show me pictures.  They showed how it looks up on the attic.  When you are in the process, the told us that they can do this and that and it would cost so much and the final bill was $20,000.  I would not use their service in the future."

I have an apartment building in which the garden unit had previously suffered water leakage.  I had the outside sealed previously, but wanted to get the inside sealed while the apartment was empty.  Chuck came out and offered three different solutions all with various price points.  We agreed to sealing just the inside for now, and if there were future leaks, we would consider the alternate solutions proposed.  In all 6 cracks were discovered.  Chuck had the cracks sealed and each of the tie bars sealed. 

I will be using them again for my other apartment units.
