"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. "1. They broke the water main in two places, covered it up by continuing the landscaping, lied about breaking it, and offered to re-landscape again later for more money. 2. I told them I wanted ground cover around established trees and on the side of the house. Instead they planted grass there. They then planted the ground cover without first killing the new grass. It looks terrible because of all the grass growing around and rising above the new ground cover. 3. There are many, many large bare spots where grass should be growing. I told them about that but instead of seeding or reseeding the bare spots, they covered it up with the fiber blanket that concealed the fact grass seed wasn't planted until after I paid them. 4. They fixed my brick sidewalk but forgot they were to treat it. When I reminded them to do it, they didn't sweep off the dirt and just covered the dirt. 5. Tore pond liner, covered it up, and didn't reattach to new bricks despite many promises."

"Why 5 stars? First the Arrowhead rep I met with was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He made many trips to my house to review plans and bring paver samples. He provided a competitive bid with another "affordable contractor" and was much less than another "expensive" contractor bid. He provided some very good input to improve on my original patio design. Arrowhead used 4x8 plywood sheets to protect my lawn as they brought their heavy equipment in and out. The patio foundation was a full 12 inches of 3 different sized gravel stones. I observed quality craftsmanship during the installation, especially with all the curves in my design. Meticulous work. The finished patio looks amazing. The crew power washed everything upon completion. They also brought in sod to replace some damaged areas in the immediate patio area that resulted from the digging. I also paid for landscaping stone to fill in around my walk and pool. It looks great. I highly recommend Arrowhead Pavers."

"BEWARE of this company!!! Everything started out great, the staff was initially incredibly responsive and came out for an estimate. Their estimate was reasonable and competitive to a 2nd bid I had received, and I was offered a $500 discount and a commitment that the work would be done in 1.5 days if I signed the contract in 24 hours. I went ahead and signed the estimate. That is when the problems started.... The project manager (Moses) was completely non-responsive as to when the work would be completed. They were provided access to my home, yet never contacted me to let me know when they would arrive or when work would be completed. 3 weeks later, I still did not have a response on work completion and Moses stopped answering my messages and would not answer my calls. Finally, after calling the office (which is always closed and has an outdated voicemail response that hasn't been updated since Oct. 3rd) , I received a call from the technician. He tells me that work is complete, and that he'll be doing a walk through in a few days. Today, he calls to tell me he is there , but he doesn't know where the main gas line is and he can't figure out how to get gas to the fireplace. Ok, interesting... I call my gas company because we have working hot water and have been paying our gas bill and they tell me gas is entering the home. I tell this to technician, who tells me, well, that's too bad, they don't know what the problem is and that is my problem to solve, the work is complete on their end. How is work complete, if you have hooked up a gas fireplace , but can't figure out how to get gas to it? Isn't this something you would confirm BEFORE doing work? I can't get in touch with anyone in charge at the office and I am honestly shocked that anyone could have had a positive experience with this company."

"We have used Superior Chimney for years. They are on time and friendly. They provide accurate estimates, and they do excellent work. The pictures they provide of the fireplaces and chimneys are useful as a homeowner. I feel they provide honest input on what repairs and maintenance is required."

"The quality of the work was poor, the sod was laid and not rolled out which is preventing the sod from catching and causing the lawn to look uneven, the grass seed/ dirt was spread sporadically over the front lawn without focusing on the bare spots which was the ultimate goal of the seeding. (for treatment/solution to holes in the lawn to promote grass growth in those areas.) Also there was very little grass seeds or dirt spread to back lawn. I brought this to Kevin's attention and he said he would take care of it and that he ran out of dirt, also his response to my calls or e-mails was not timely or not at all. I called and text him on several occasions requesting that he comes to complete the job and he never showed up to complete the job as promised. I also feel the additional cost he charged ($1500) to lay 4 to 5 rolls of sod for 20 ft. x 24 ft. area (480 sq. ft.) , was over priced and he took advantage of me and I am a victim of price gouging. His initial quote he gave me was 3400 (for the seeding, retainer wall removal, aeration, power raking, cutting the grass, plant 1 bush) but I just noticed he has put 3500 on the contract so even in that instance I paid him $100 more than what was agreed upon. The contract that he wanted me to sign was very extensive and "construction focused" and did not address everything we had discussed for this project. It basically was an agreement to ensure payment and cover himself if I did not pay. When I noticed the contract did not list line by line description of the scope of the work I brought that to his attention and asked him to include what the job would intel ( work order) listing what we had talked about. He told me he would bring it when he came to do the job. I didn't receive anything, but he had already came to to start the job. By the time he finally came to start the job I had received a warning from the village due to my grass had grown more then 5 inches waiting for him to come and take care of cutting the grass when he was to start the project. The overall communication and follow up with this company is not good and they do not provide detailed scope of work orders even when requested."
