"The entire process went pretty well. Bob (sales) called ahead of the appointed time in order to arrive early (yea!), and the installation team (JJ and two younger guys) arrived a bit earlier than expected (yea!). They quickly moved my big furniture and removed the old carpeting and pad. About seven hours later I had brand new carpeting to walk on! After I thoroughly vacuumed the new carpeting I didn't find any real problems except for one visible "seam peak" in the main floor area (and I believe this may become less visible over time)."

"My initial experience was positive. The salesperson was very helpful and I chose carpeting that was reasonable for my budget. The installers were punctual and courteous. However, the price in the store for my carpeting was incorrect, and when it came time to pay, the salesperson was pretty rude when I demanded the price that was on the sample in the store. He even refused to let me talk to his boss. After speaking with another salesperson, I was given the price that was in the store and a credit for the extra labor for stairs, which was nice. I'm not totally pleased with the installation. There are air pockets and bumps all over the place, and when I went back to the store, I was told to try sticking pins in the air pockets and if that didn't work, they would come pull up the carpet. I just don't feel like dealing with them anymore, so I'll probably just accept all the imperfections because I don't want to turn my basement upside down to fix them.

When removal of carpeting from our hallway revealed staining and damage to the hardwood flooring below, Bill replaced the damaged boards. He refinished the entire hallway so that it looks brand new. Bill also refinished the floors in two bedrooms, recommending the products and techniques that would best cover stains and rough areas. Because of his extensive knowledge, Bill gave great explanations and made helpful suggestions. Bill proved that he is willing to take on challenges.
