"J&A quoted $3,000 to remove old flooring, install new flooring and remove and install quarter round molding. Once there they sent an invoice for $3500 saying the molding was an extra $500 and I told them that based on our conversation thru the Angi app $3000 was what he had quoted so I had to remove the existing molding. On the first day they were scheduled to commence work at 7am and they showed up 3 hrs late, they said they were coming from another job. They installed the vynil flooring but rushed thru the job to make up for time lost. They installed the flooring but the cuts along the walls and cabinets were very bad. I questioned them about that and they stated that the quarter round trim would cover that but I noted that the cuts were extreme and the trim would not hide their mistakes. They were suppose to remove the washer and dryer in the laundry room to install the floor but instead they just pulled them back and forth and never put the washer water hose back in the drain so upon the first use of the washer all the water drain into the laundry causing damage to the basement ceiling as the water leaked thru the floor. I contacted them to notify them of the issues and Adrian the owner stated that he wasn t responsible and since has blocked my number.the floor is coming apart in numerous places. I tried calling him numerous times from my phone, my wives phone and he just hangs up and blocks the number. I tried messaging him thru the Angi app trying to get a resolution and he has never replied. I had to hire another contractor and pay over $2000 for them to come And install custom trim to hide the incorrect installation and flaws. Even thru all this turmoil i didn t even leave a bad review towards his business in hopes of getting a resolution."

"I appreciated their quick responses and were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They were willing to come out right away for an estimate. It was a small job and they did an incredible job. I could not be happier with the process and end result. The floor looks amazing now after they replaced and refinished several planks. I thought I might be charged inappropriately for a smaller job but feel that the price was fair. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs their hardwood floors repaired/refinished."

"I had some minor damage on the floor in my bathroom. Water had been gradually running out from the corner of my shower, which damaged the shoe mold and may have gotten unddr the vinyl planks. A nearby plank was also collapsed. Mariusz and his coworker (unfortunately I forgot his name) verified everything was fine underneath, replaced the planks and shoe mold, and redid the caulking, all for a decent price. It looks fantastic! Mariusz answered several other questions about issues around my condo. He obviously knows vinyl plank flooring. If I ever need more work on my floors, I'll definitely be talking to him."

"We were profoundly disappointed with the outcome of the work. There are splinters in the doorway, the entire perimeter is rough and uneven, some of the planks that were newly replaced were cracked and filled with wood filler, nail holes were not filled, they used two different varnishes, there is a gap between the flooring and the cabinet, they did not varnish the floor under/behind the refrigerator, the crew damaged multiple pieces of brand-new furniture and appliances. I also discovered that the crew was drinking beer while working. My husband immediately requested that a new/different contractor be brought in to rectify the mess that HQF had made of our floors. However, we both decided to give them a second chance only if they would send a new crew of workers, ensure that the equipment was functioning properly, and refrain from rushing the job. Frank never responded."

"I had the carpeting replaced in one of the bedrooms. Expo sent me sample photos of carpets by email so I could choose a carpet over the phone. Dina, the salesperson, was very helpful. The installer was terrific. He got there right on time and took out the old carpeting and hauled it away and then installed the new carpet in two hours.It looks beautiful. I'm really pleased with the service I got. I have used Expo several times before and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone."
