"I could not have asked for a better landscaper. When Frank came for the estimate he took the time to explain what was going to have to be done to give me a great looking wall. After the estimate was submitted and accepted he directed me to the supplier where I could look at a multitude of brick choices and actually see what they looked like, not just pictures. I had to delay the start of the wall in order to have some work done on my driveway. Frank was very patient. Once that work was done he immediately worked my job into his schedule. Showed up on a Monday morning as scheduled. Removed the old wall( 125ft of timber) and prepped the area for construction. This included having to remove approximately 2ft of dirt back from the wall site. At the end of the day you could only tell that Frank and his crew had been there because of the piles of dirt( this was all going to be reused) in my driveway. The rest of the area was basically spotless. On days 2 and 3 Frank and his crew ( 3 more men) built a 125ft wal of brick including laying down drainage behind the wall, backfilling as the wall went up with a dirt and gravel mix, and capping the wall. And a beautiful wall it is.

Frank also picked out the color of the brick. I had picked the brick, but when asked by Frank what color I left it to him. I said " You have done a hundred of these. You know my house color. Pick what you think would look good." He did a fantastic job. He and his crew are to be commended. Without a doubt any other landscaping work I would ever do would be done by Emerald Bloom Landscaping."

Our chimney is well built, the stone is holding up great, and it absolutely could last us a lifetime. Then we got the not as fun news…we had about 23 years worth of maintenance to catch up on. Thankfully all of it was well within our budget, thoroughly explained, detailed without being overwhelming, and he even did a deep dive all over the house just to be extra sure there wasn’t anything missing that would require another visit. (He even fixed some loose stone in an unrelated part of the house for free.) Already looking forward to my first fire in my new home. I’ll be calling Top Hat for our annual maintenance as long as we own our home."

"it went very well, technician call 30 minutes before their arrival, once they arrived they introduced themselves and got right to work. The inspection went well and the technician made sure to show me what they were seeing. After the inspection there was some work that needed to be done and was suggested. After seeing photographs and discussing with the technician, I choose to have some of the proposed work done. There was no pressure or hard sales pitch, just practical safety and maintenance issues. The work was able to be accomplished during the visit, and in addition an additional discount was provided. The technicians were knowledgeable, professional and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I will have them back to do a more thorough masonry inspection in the spring when there is not snow on the roof."
