Service Provider ResponseWe did call customer to explain that the carpet was deodorized, but if the smell came back, it is coming from the pad and back of carpet, the salts from the dog urine are wicking up creating a smell when room is closed or on a humid day. We can come out and treat pad and back of carpet with our carpet syringe and inject deodorizer as a next step with an additional charge. Customer did state carpet looks very clean and that at this time did not want that and understood that this was the first step in removing odor by deodorizing and cleaning carpet.
Service Provider ResponseIn response to this review. This is an unfair review. The custom was very happy with the cleaning, but the nap dried in the wrong direction. Most fabrics with naps will lay down after cleaning, this is not doing so. We did go to customers home and corrected some and will be going back to re- steam to make every attempt to groom in the correct position. Service Provider ResponseIn response to this review. We were dealing with a flood estimate in Chicago with the owner being in Arizona. Based on the sq ft over the phone I quoted $800 to $1200.00 approxiate estimate. The customer said they did not hear the $1200.00. After all was completed, wee xtracted water, pulled carpet, pulled pad, disinfected, moved furniture, dried floor, carpet and rooms with carpet driers, inspected drying 2 separate days after, installed complete new pad in both rooms, relayed carpet, cleaned carpet and moved furniture back, this took 4 to 5 days to complete. We got there in a timely fashion and saved this customer a few $1000.00 keeping the water from soaking into the dry wall and stopping mold damage and keeping there college tenants safe and happy in this crazy cold weather. We did not charge customer for the drying inspections after they told us they did not hear the $1200.00 range. We did confirm all other charges with the customer and completed the job, I feel there was a misunderstanding on the customer end also and we did do our best to control cost.
