No pressure on his part to purchase a new one. We went ahead and had him install a new one. He was very professional. Left the work area clean. His fee was very reasonable. "Charlie is a top-notch guy, super friendly, and most importantly, very honest.  I had initially called him because I thought my 7-year water heater was ready to be replaced (pilot was no longer lighting after having months of issues).  After telling him what was going on, he said I didn't need to replace the water heater, probably just the thermocouple / ignitor.  I called him at around 9.30am, and he was out here by around 12pm.   He took a quick look, confirmed his suspicion, and left to pick up the parts and install them.  After that was fixed, I showed him an issue with my leaking toilet which he repaired as well. I couldn't have asked for better service, and will be referring to friends/family and calling him again next time.  Thanks Charlie.
