"Can not say enough about this company. Our 187 foot long asphalt driveway needed to be re-done, as well as the replacement of a cracked concrete apron AND an area where a tree root had caused a large dip. Everything done to perfection. Neighbors have made a point to tell us how great it looks. SO happy we hired them."

"Nick from 3D Concrete Design was extremely helpful! I was unsure whether a patio crack needed repair on full-on replacement. Nick recommended a simple repair, explained why in plain-language and provided a fair estimate in no time. From this interaction, I can tell that the folks at 3D Concrete Design are honest brokers and stand-people. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again in the future :-)"

"Daniel was a pleasure to work with, from initial estimate to job completion. An old sinking blacktop driveway was replaced with a concrete one. The job was completed in a reasonable time frame (the longest wait was for my village to approve the permit!). It looks beautiful, greatly improving the curb appeal. The crew was very respectful of the property and did a very nice clean up. Very happy with the results."

"The driveway looks good. The contractor was surprised to find ten or more massive tree roots beneath the old, removed concrete. Rather than paving over the roots (we wouldn't have known), they did the job the correct way and removed the roots. They obviously care about doing quality work. Owner was always responsive to my texts. The water drains great."

"Back in 2004 - Ed Mar Tuck pointed our entire brick home's exterior. Mortar was in bad shape. Got his number from a friend who went on and on about how happy he was with Ed Mar Progressive. Glad to see he's still in business. He didn't actually drill out old mortar and replace, instead, 6 of his guys chipped out any loose mortar and re-covered all mortar lines - every inch of the entire house. He said drilling out mortar lasts about 20 years or more, the process he performed said would last about 15 years or more. 6K from Ed Mar vs 20K from other companies for drilling - was an easy decision. It's 2010 - tuck pointing holding up great. He transformed our home. This is all the extra stuff he did too.... Let us pick the color of the mortor (gave options), rebuilt two chimneys, removed all the vines from the house (couldn't even see any brick anywhere cause of vines), power washed our brick basement walls and re-pointed where it was really bad. His workers were eastern-european - and AMAZING masons. They showed up every single day, morning to night until the project was completed (I think about 6 days total). Unheard of right? Was a great expereince....hopefully he does business like this all the time. For me, he was a god-send. Super clean too....and didn't slop mortar all over the brick, very clean lines. Nice man too, very nice. Very affordable, hopefully still the case. And no.... I don't work for him, ha! Heard he was a doctor in the old country (Eastern European)..that's how he operates....no pun intended."

Concrete Driveways questions, answered by experts

Experts typically recommend pressure washing your driveway at least once per year to keep it looking great while preventing stains, cracks, and unwanted vegetation. However, if your driveway gets a lot of use, you might want to pressure wash it more often to keep it looking like new.

You should always power wash your driveway before applying a sealant. At any given time, your driveway could be covered with algae and moss, tire residue, oil and rust stains, and any combination of leaves, twigs, and dirt. If you skip power washing, you’ll be trapping the dirt and grime beneath the sealant and lowering its chance of cementing itself to your driveway. While you can expect the cost to pressure wash your driveway to average between $100 and $350, the few hundred dollars beats an unattractive driveway or paying extra to reapply your driveway sealer.

Most powerwashing jobs take 2-6 hours, but larger buildings or areas with deep staining may require an entire day.

You can use a pressure washer to clean a whole host of surfaces. The exterior siding of your house is one of the most popular spots, as well as your driveway, garage floor, patio or deck, and even your outdoor furniture. Just be mindful about the amount of pressure you apply to different materials—concrete can handle a lot more than wood, for example.

It depends on the type of surface, but if you’re preparing to pressure wash a driveway, you’ll start by using a broom or leaf blower to get rid of dirt, leaves, and other debris. Then, move any nearby items (like outdoor furniture and potted plants) and cover in-ground plants with a tarp or plastic sheet. After that, you can apply degreaser spray or another pretreatment solution to any stains and scrub them with a stiff brush before pressure washing.
