I was provided a detailed estimate on what the work would cost. He went over the breakdown of parts and labor, and when supplemental items were needed, they were added after a thorough explanation. The first countertop came in with damage from the freight company's shabby handling. When we discovered this, Jim was right on the phone with the vendor he had ordered it from. We had another top coming right away. We were all very annoyed! The second top arrived and had some markings on a small spot that looked like corrugated grooves made from the cardboard it was packaged in. He immediately contacted the vendor again.
