"I couldn’t be more pleased with the communication, professionalism, and responsiveness. I feel I got a good price. The entire back yard was cleaned up, all old grass and weeds were raked out and removed, sprinklers repaired, top soil and sod laid, rock on both sides of the house were all completed in less than two full days. I had a problem with one of my sprinkler zones and they came back and adjusted that and while doing so found a leak in one of my sprinkler lines. That was fixed and a few pieces of sod replaced for no extra charge. The entire crew was nice and respectful. I would recommend 100%."

If your driveway is cracked, you can repave it with a process called asphalt overlay. Overlay is more cost-effective than a full replacement but is better suited for minor cracks and issues. The three most common types of asphalt are hot asphalt, MC cold mix, and UPM asphalt. Hot asphalt is used most often for paving and patching roadways while it’s hot and workable. MC cold mix asphalt cures more slowly than hot asphalt, but it can be used for temporary patches and repairs in low-traffic areas. UPM is also used cold, but it can be used as a longer-term fix, usable in almost any conditions at almost any temperature.

Recycled asphalt is a durable choice for a driveway, but doesn’t have the same appearance and low maintenance as standard asphalt. For long driveways in rural communities, recycled asphalt can make a great choice. Recycled asphalt is 20% to 30% percent less expensive than standard asphalt and is better for the environment.

Asphalt uses bitumen—a byproduct of crude oil—to bind aggregate. Though tarmac was once a go-to for roads, asphalt has become the modern standard.
