I never received a written estimate or work repair order. I was told that his wife does that on Sundays and I would receive it via email. I still have not received it. The work was done and the garage door is working, but I feel as though I could have had it done cheaper and with written paperwork and a warranty. I have a standard garage door and the repair cost me $350.00 plus tax

As we were talking about the bridge and why it was going to be installed in the washroom (instead of the garage where the instructions suggested), he shared his experience and we solved another problem, that of the garage's GFI circuit tripping regularly. He taught us how to reset the codes too and because he'd finished so quickly, decided he'd service the door since he was there. Great guy delivering great service
- Overhead Door CoService rep was on time and had thorough knowledge of the products. He cleaned and lubricated the chain, disassembled a big spring assembly at the front of the door, cleaned and replaced it. Changed battery in exterior keypad. Afterward the door was very jerky when attempting to open. Just sounded like it was slack and attempting to overcome that when the chain parts were getting set to pull on the door. After forgetting to call for about a month, I finally called about the problem and they sent a technician out right away. The connecting pieces between the chain pull assembly and the parts on the door where it pulls were upside down (if I'm remembering correctly, that was last year but I did want to put in a report). Once the parts were replaced correctly the door and opener and worked perfectly for the past year. I wil most definitely use Overhead Garage Doors again as I have in the past. About every 3 to 4 years I've had them tune-up the opener as it needs it. They have always been outstanding

"Our garage door has been acting up and today it refused to close without holding the button down. The sensor was obviously acting up. Spenser came an hour after we talked on the phone. He quickly worked with the sensor getting it to work again. He explained that at our opener was past its average lifespan, but that it might work another ten years. He told us we could replace it now or keep playing with the sensor and hope that it will last. He never pushed us to replace the unit but clearly laid out the options. We decided to keep the opener for now and continue to work with it. Before leaving Spenser cleaned, oiled, and adjusted the unit so it is now working at top efficiency. It is much quieter than before. We will definitely be calling Legacy when it becomes time to replace the opener. We could not have asked for better service.
