Concrete Flatwork - Repair & Resurface
I would NOT recommend using Heron & Baja Construction. Heron does not follow through on his word & is an extremely poor communicator. I hired him to do a barbecue island installation in April and was told it would take a couple weeks to complete installation. I had a Family reunion in July. He decided to poor a foundation wall instead of the estimated block & made an absolute mess. When they hooked up the water lines from my house to the sink area of the barbecue island, they did not crimp the connections properly & flooded my crawl space that I found on Father's Day. They never completed the project & quit & refunded me the down payment of $10,000, however never paid for the $6,000 in damages from the restoration & plumbing repairs needed from their mistakes & damages to my property. Heron continued to say he would pay me back but kept on blowing me off, and reason why I am providing this review to warn others that he is not someone that can be trusted?

Heron is very open and up-front with you during the bid/estimate process, and delivers what he says he'll deliver. Price is very reasonable and the work is done on time as promised. We had him widen our driveway and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the work.

Baja Construction did an exceptional job on our pool deck and patio extension, seamlessly integrating it with our existing pool. The work they did was simply amazing and they were easy to collaborate with throughout the process. In addition to the pool and patio work we also decided to add an outdoor kitchen that turned out beautifully. We previously had issues with drainage on our old pool deck, which were complicated by the layout of the pool and patio. However Heron proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable addressing and fixing our drainage problems effectively. He was wonderful to work with always available to answer our questions and offer insightful recommendations on what would work best for our space. Overall Baja Construction exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the project. Their expertise, responsiveness and their quality of their work are why I highly recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their outdoor living space.
