"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

"Excellent quality but because of communication problems the job stretched on for more than 2 months...they were very price-conscious on my behalf and allowed a contractor of my choice to handle demolition and tile work...Overall, an excellent job with some human limitations."

"Excellent all the way around.  Courteous, professional and prompt. In addition to a badly needed driveway replacement,  I wanted to add a step to the front porch so they were easier for me and others to manage going up and down them.  Mike gave me suggestions on  how to do that and how to improve the whole look of the entry way.  The crew were able to get to my job quicker than they initially thought and all was done professionally and on time.  I would use this company again and recommend it to others.

"Premiere Painting took on my job that four other painters declined on due to the complexity of the job. I have a large master bedroom, bath and closet with extensive woodwork. Beau paid tremendous attention to detail in preparing the job. Words cannot describe the quality of work that was done! His focus on the minor details was quite impressive! The job turned out better than I expected and I couldn't be happier! If you are looking for a quality painter that is honest, has a strong work ethic, and takes pride in his work then you cannot go wrong with Premiere Painting!"

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Removing a load-bearing wall is best handled by professionals. However, if you have the skill set and decide to DIY the project, you will still need at least one additional person to assist you. Aside from helping with demolition, you'll need another hand to install the new support beam.

Proper Murphy bed installation minimizes the risk of wall damage. A secure attachment requires making some holes for anchors or brackets, but these can be easily patched if the bed is removed. To ensure the installation is done correctly and safely, hiring a professional is recommended, especially if you have limited DIY experience.

No rules state how much of a load-bearing wall can be removed. Rather, you need to adequately support any area that is removed. Support should always be added to as much wall area is being removed. Failing to support the area properly will result in structural damage.

There are a variety of second-story deck privacy ideas depending on your budget and aesthetic. For starters, you might consider fencing or tall privacy railing that masks a good portion of the open deck. A pergola or an awning can provide additional cover and shade. Outdoor curtains are an easy way to add or remove privacy at your convenience, plus they’re a wallet-friendly way to decorate your deck.

For maximum stability, install grab bars on wall studs, as this will adequately support the weight. However, if you don't have access to studs, you can get by with wall anchors. If opting for the latter, choose specialty hollow wall anchors.
