"I hired this contractor to do work and coordinate the remodel of my home. He personally refinished the hardwood which I now realize was way over priced only for it to peel all over in 6 months. Company would not communicate with me despite many attempts to make this right. There was no final walk through and details were ignored. I have yet for this to be acknowledged by this.company. My estimate below is ONLY for the floors he redid."

We are your do it all company. Can re-modell existing homes from top to bottom, improve all aspects of the home. We can build completely new from the ground up to your custom needs. I gaurantee after we work on your home, the value of the home will climb, and the craftsmanship of the work will speak volumes. My company is just me and one laborer. We do all aspects of the work including electrical and plumbing. I have master electricians and master plumbers that sub-contract with me to insure that the istall of those particular areas are done in a professional and timely manner. With my company doing the ROUGH IN of electrical and plumbing, and then the masters come in to do the FINISH/TRIM of the electrical and plumbing we save you time, and money. Trip charges are 75 dollars per trip, and their are no service fees. We are a very small company with the customer in mind. I have been on the losing end of client to contractor relationships to many times and I don't like getting burned. So I keep that mind-set with my clients in our getting to know you policy. We keep your needs in mind, and custom taylor the project to meet your needs, and your budget. I like knowing that I have a excellent repoir with my clients, and that my contractor to client relationship is excellent. I want my client to feel like I have their family in mind throughout the entire process. My family comes first to me, so should the clients families.

Chimney Repair questions, answered by experts

Sticky shoes help, but you shouldn't be walking on the steel roof— let the pros do that. it's dangerous enough to walk on asphalt shingled roofs which have quite a bit of texture. Stone coating adds a lot of grip, but it still doesn't lock your foot down, so if you absolutely have to be on the roof, make sure you’re secured in another way, like with the harness and rope.

Metal shake roofs can last 50 to 75 years or more when properly maintained, compared to 20 to 40 years for a traditional asphalt shingle roof. Be sure to promptly repair damage and keep up with gutter maintenance to help extend the life of your metal roof.

A metal roof can last anywhere from 15 to 100 years or more, depending on the type. Aluminum and corrugated metal roofs last around 45 years, but tin roofs can last for up to 75 years, and copper roofs can last 100 years or more.

Metal roofs don’t inherently leak more than shingles, and when properly installed, they can actually offer greater protection against leaks. However, poor installation, improperly sealed fasteners, or thermal expansion issues can lead to leaks over time, so professional installation and regular maintenance are crucial.

Copper roofing works well in all kinds of climates, but it’s ideal in humid climates because it naturally repels fungus, moss, and algae. This makes it one of the best roofing options for Cape Cod homes in the Northeast, as well as homes in the humid southern states and snowy northern states. That said, copper is vulnerable to thermal expansion. If you live in a climate that has extreme temperature changes, your contractor will need to consider this during the installation process.
