"I hired this contractor to do work and coordinate the remodel of my home. He personally refinished the hardwood which I now realize was way over priced only for it to peel all over in 6 months. Company would not communicate with me despite many attempts to make this right. There was no final walk through and details were ignored. I have yet for this to be acknowledged by this.company. My estimate below is ONLY for the floors he redid."

It’s a more expensive option, but it’s worth the added cost for roof longevity in extreme climates. If you live in a more moderate climate and don’t have trees overhanging your roof, 26-gauge metal is suitable and is a more affordable option.

A chimney in good condition will keep rain from seeping into the chimney or house, so if you notice a small leak during a rainstorm, it’s time to call a pro for inspection.
