"I had an issue start last night on 8/3/26, I was contacted this morning by the office by phone call and asked if I still need service. By 930 or so Aaron showed up. Aaron is very polite and answered any question I had about the job so I proceeded with them. To me it was a catastrophic issue that needed immediate attention. Aaron completed the job of my entire upstairs drains being clogged with a few hours. I see some reviews stating they are pricey and that could very well be since I did want to wait around for multiple quotes that could have taken an extra day I went with them since they were the most responsive. Im happy that I am now back up and running, with multiple people in my home it was crucial to have the bathrooms back up and running. "Scott, Chris and his team were such a blessing coming to our rescue after months as to the unknown,repeated gallons increase on our water bill,(we held our breath each month opening the bill, yet we were not seeing any indication as to where a leak was while meter still ran at shut off,none of us could find as to where a leak was. We continued to come up short for answers after our water company indicated it was nothing on their side, leak detection, Insurance Companies and everyone else that came out.......WE JUST HAD NO ANSWERS! "Carl, the plumber, was prompt and extremely cordial. He took the time to explain what he was doing and how to avoid repeat problems. He also took the time to check out what we thought might have been another plumbing problem, and made suggestions of things to do to avoid the plumbing problems which can occur as a building ages.
He cleared the kitchen drain, ran enough water several times to makes sure that it was draining properly, and left the area clean and dry. As an aside, in chatting with him he explained some of the factors that go into the costs of plumbing and why the service charges can result in high "sticker shock". While that does not necessarily reduce the impact of plumbing cost, I very much appreciated that he took a few minutes to provide me with a perspective I had not considered.
As I have other plumbing work that will need to be done in the near future I will certainly give these guys first crack at the job. And with the discount provided by the Angie's list promotion I got away with a fraction of what I had feared the call would cost. In all, I am exceedingly happy with American Service Specialists.
