Though I was a bit reluctant, Jody moved a heavy piece of furniture in order to perform the job properly. Moving the furniture allowed him to place the carpet stretching device against the floor board of the opposite wall to permit him to stretch carpet completely. "These guys breathed life into my first home. I had prepared natural hickory hardwood for Manuel & his team to install in my living room & basement. Hickory is a gorgeous wood, but it has a lot of color variation and some specimens are better than others. The layers took their time to choose each plank, column by column, to produce a beautiful balance of dark & light grains. They worked hard to get through my project in a day & a half, and during that short time not only laid down the new floor but replaced some subfloor and missing baseboard. Although they worked fast, they paused to properly improvise unexpected layouts or imperfections. Manuel patiently answered every question I had to help us understand the process and made us feel like our input was important. The results are stunning and my wife & I couldn't be happier."
