"This company is running a scam. I was told that I had either squirrels or rats in my attic. I had them come out and they sanitized it (so they say) and added insolation. Then all except one guy left and I noticed they didn't bother filling in the hole in which the "animals" were entering my attic. He said he would call a coworker to come back out. Nobody came. I called the main office and the original Orkin guy who came out. Nobody answered. Finally one guy came back to fix the hole and I asked if there was any animal activity, he said there was not and the hole was just a small water damage hole. Soooo, I paid for "animals" that didn't exist and for a crew to leave without doing the work. Do not use this company."

Pest Control questions, answered by experts

Yes, pest control in Atlanta can enhance your home’s value and attract buyers. Properties with active termite bonds, recent mosquito control, or documented rodent prevention are more appealing during inspections. A pest-free record reassures buyers and can speed up the sale process, especially in neighborhoods where termite and fire ant issues are common, helping your home stand out in a competitive market.

Helpful?

Coordinating pest control with upgrades like crawl space encapsulation, gutter cleaning, or yard drainage improvements is especially effective in Atlanta’s climate. Addressing moisture and landscaping issues alongside pest treatments helps prevent future infestations of termites, mosquitoes, and rodents. Bundling these services can streamline your maintenance schedule, maximize the effectiveness of each upgrade, and protect your home from multiple threats at once.

Helpful?

In Atlanta, homeowners often overlook how the city’s humid climate accelerates termite and mosquito activity, skip regular termite bond renewals, and use ineffective store-bought solutions for fire ants or roaches. Many fail to seal foundation cracks, ignore attic and crawl space ventilation, or neglect to remove yard debris, all of which can attract rodents and other pests, leading to recurring infestations and structural damage.

Helpful?

Your Atlanta home is a strong candidate for pest control if you notice frequent mosquito activity, see fire ant mounds, or have mature trees and dense foliage nearby. Homes with basements, crawl spaces, or brick exteriors are especially prone to termite and rodent issues. If you’ve experienced water leaks, persistent humidity, or seasonal spikes in pests like roaches or spiders, professional pest management is recommended.

Helpful?

Pest control in Atlanta provides immediate relief from ants, mosquitoes, and rodents, improving your home’s comfort and air quality. Over time, you’ll prevent termite and carpenter ant damage, reduce the risk of mold from moisture-loving pests, and maintain your property’s value. Ongoing treatments also help minimize health risks from allergens and bites, making your home safer and easier to maintain year-round.
