"He put in 3 different new outlets for me and replaced one of the bad ones in my backyard. He is very professional. He showed up on time. He did deliver what he promised me. He cleaned up after he finished the work. I am very happy hiring him to do my project. I will definitely recommend him to anybody who needs to find a good reliable electrician."

"Outstanding. I noticed the other day that my front porch light had dropped out of the recessed receptacle and was hanging by its wires. I quickly contacted several electricians from Angie's list and only heard back from two of them. Both were pleasant and helpful. One could not get to me for about 7-9 days. The other (Phaze Electric) had me on their schedule the next day. Jerome showed up early and quickly assessed what was needed. He obtained the necessary part from Lowe's and was back in a flash to remove the old housing and install the new one. I also used Phaze Electric a couple of years ago to hang ceiling fans on my back porch and they did an excellent job then, too. Phaze Electric will be the company I call in the future for all my electrical needs. I trust them to do a great job at a reasonable price."

"I needed electrical work done in Altamonte Springs back in May. Nelson was super professional, kind, and transparent. It was truly a pleasure to work with him. He made the scary process pain-free!! He kept me informed the entire time, did not push any unwanted services, and I am so grateful. I will definitely use them again for my future electrical needs."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Winter Garden, homes built before 1980 often have outdated wiring, like aluminum or knob-and-tube, which can be a safety concern. Watch for flickering lights after storms, outlets that feel warm, or persistent tripping of GFCI outlets—especially in kitchens and bathrooms. Corrosion on outdoor outlets and rust in garage panels are also common due to local humidity and frequent summer storms.

Helpful?

In Winter Garden, leaving outdoor outlets unsealed exposes them to moisture, which can lead to corrosion. Overusing extension cords or overloading circuits in home offices is common and can strain your system. Ignoring water leaks near panels, skipping regular electrical inspections, or letting dust and pests accumulate in breaker boxes can all reduce the longevity of your home’s electrical work.

Helpful?

Upgrading your electrical system in Winter Garden can make your home more attractive to buyers, especially those seeking storm-ready features. Modern panels, whole-home surge protection, and smart home wiring are valued in this area, where severe weather is common. These improvements not only boost resale appeal but can also help buyers feel confident about safety and future energy needs.

Helpful?

In Winter Garden, outdoor lighting, pool equipment, and landscape outlets are prone to wear from rain and humidity. Garages and attics can develop wiring issues due to heat and moisture, while kitchens and home offices often need updates as electrical demands grow. Homes in older neighborhoods may also require regular checks of main panels and GFCI outlets to stay up to code.

Helpful?

New homeowners in Winter Garden should begin with a comprehensive electrical inspection, focusing on older wiring and panel capacity. Upgrading to GFCI outlets in bathrooms and kitchens is essential for safety. Consider adding surge protection to guard against frequent lightning storms, and check outdoor systems for pool or patio safety. Preparing for hurricane season with generator-ready wiring is also a smart investment.
