"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "They originally installed my solar pool heater, during the estimate visit they painted beautiful picture and I was sold, however after the installation I found a problem, my pool would get quite hot in a summer, but in a winter time it wouldn’t get warm enough to swim in it, I asked the company for help few times, didn’t get much of the solution, was told that I can add few more panels, but they were pricey, so I gave up and was left with pool heater that really doesn’t do what it was intended to do- let us swim most of the year as I was told it would. Few years later I needed to change my roof, and I called company to dissemble the panels, to get the new roof on, took me over a week to get a call back from them, and I was told that they are quite busy so I won’t be able to get it done for another week, but they will send someone over to give me a quote, their quote for disassembly was breathtaking, mind it they don’t put the disassembly cost in their contract, as I was told they can’t do it as prices are going up and they will not be able to predict what it’ll be years later, at the time when they put the panels on. Going to another company would violate my warranty, so I was stuck, when I tried to tell them that they originally told me different price for disassembly, I was called a liar, and when I got upset and put a bad review online, I got a very rude email from the company owner accusing me that I was trying to bully the company into getting better price and that they will not have any business with me any longer, so my warranty was gone, and my new roof assembly was postponed indefinitely. I was devastated, luckily for me I found Affordable Solar Services company, they were simply amazing, when I called they came next day and took panels off for half the price of Excel Solar quote, they stored them safely and reassembled them just as fast when roofing company gave their ok. They were courteous, polite and knowledgeable, they also installed two more panels for a very reasonable price and now my pool heater works as was intended, all was done same day. They really saved the day. They also put down quote for me for any future disassembly, something which Excel Solar told me no one will do. So at the end my loss became a huge gain. Thank you Excel Solar for having the worst customer service. If it wouldn’t been for you, I would still be stuck with you and would not of find this absolutely amazing company."

"TERRIBLE! The leak was fixed, only where I told them where to look, that is, inside the association’s conduit box by the rooftop compressor. Male tech was polite and efficient, but gave constant excuses for the association, which owned and caused the leaks. Gave an estimate to repair of $1300, but I was invoiced $1430 (excessive prices). They promised to text a photo of the leak taken by the technician, but did NOT, even after many follow up calls. The office staff (several females) failed to return telephone calls. They charged $95 for prepaid maintenance that I did not order. When I requested the photo and a refund for the $95, they said my bill would then go up several hundred dollars. There is NO such "tricky dickey" supporting verbiage for that on the invoice. VERY NONSENSICALLY TRICKY AND SMART A** RUDE! 6 years ago, I had a good experience with a different technician there. No smart a** “tricky dicky” billing or verbal stuff was involved. There were No excuses for the association."

"My HVAC system is still under warranty. Due to the recent storms that have impacted Florida my HVAC system stopped working. I called "Bayonet Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning" and they charged me $100 to have an "assessment of the unit" although I am still under warranty. They then communicated I needed a new compressor which was still under warranty. However, unless I agree to have their technician's replace the compressor they will not ship me the part. I also offered to pick-up the part since they are located nearby and they refused. For me to obtain the part that I am legally entitled to I must agree to pay their technicians $1, 729.00. This violates the warranty. This company misleads consumers and breaches the warranty contract."
