Recent Siding Companies Reviews in Punta Gorda

  • ReNew Roofing
We dealt with Adam Johnson (salesman) and James/Savannah Emerson (owners). All three were very helpful and professional. We had our roof replaced, as well, as our siding. I would strongly recommend them.

  • Salt + Light Construction Co
Amazing. Beautiful craftsmanship. Awesome attitude and punctuality . Gave us a time and completed project ahead of schedule. Will be calling for all our future projects big or small.

  • Whisper Slide, LLC
Mark and Curtis knew just how to proceed on not only regular maintenance, but their ability to solve some long standing problems with my sliders was amazing. They were friendly and courteous! I highly recommend their business.

  • Paramount Siding & Windows
Paramount did an excellent job - the house looks fabulous. They were very generous - throwing in several upgrades (higher grade siding, accent siding, gutters & they repaired soffits & fascia). This work was covered by insurance and Paramount was able to include insulation in the bid when several other contractors were not. They were persistent in getting my business; I was prepared to go with another contractor, but they convinced me to give them a shot. I was glad I did. There were some very minor things that needed attention after the job was done and they addressed them right away. The only issue I had with this contractor was with payment options. As I said this was an insurance job. Because I had not received proceeds from insurance and Paramount needed a payment, I offered to make a partial payment with my credit card. The owner readily accepted my credit card payment. Later when I still had not received insurance proceeds and Paramount was calling me for another payment, I again offered to pay the balance with my credit card. This time, I was told I could not use the credit card again because it cost Paramount too much to use the cards and because the company had exceeded its limit with the credit card company. This has created a budgeting issue for me and I would have appreciated being informed up front that I could only use my credit card for limited amount. Still, my overall experience was a good one and the work was excellent. I would just make sure I spelled out every detail about payments prior to starting work

  • Vista Home Improvement
This project was hampered by the record October snowfall and subsequent long power outage in New England. Even after taking storm delays into consideration, this job took five weeks to complete. This was much longer than the two week estimate given. I believe that Brian Rudd (Vista Owner) had overbooked jobs and was unable to assign an adequate number of crew to complete the project in a timely manner. All crew members were extremely coureous and accommodating. The house now looks much better than before. I would recommend Vista Home Improvement to anyone

  • Newlook Sidings Inc
Ed, and his crew came and started each project when they said they would be there and cleaned up each and every day. They always asked questions and showed me when there was issues. They are still working on my deck would expect there not to be any issues.
  • Roof Smart of SW Florida
I can't say enough about how well the entire project went. This is a 14 unit condo and not one person had any serious problems. The project took just over two weeks. They cleaned the site every day and kept the condo project manager well informed of what was happening. The condo project manager had direct contact with the roof smart site managers and sales staff at all times. The roof smart project manager was on site most of the time or got here within 20 minutes if asked to do so. The workers were all polite and respectful. At the end of the project, several minor details needed to be taken care of and they were completed within a day. This is a top notch professional operation

  • Roof Smart of SW Florida
Removal and installation took approx. 6 days-some days were not full days. Materials were delivered several days before any activity began. Expect a lot of noise, and forget about your quiet time during the day-these guys work really hard! Sunday though was quiet, obviously they do take a day off. Old roof and soffits were off the first day. Bad wood was replaced the next . By the 4th day, new roof was complete and soffits/gables 90% done. Gutters, electrical, telephone, and fiber optic lines were dealt with carefully. At the end of each day, everything was picked up. If it wasn't for the red dumpster no one would have known men had been at work. When ALL was done, the tarps, laying on the ground to catch nails and such, were taken up, and a large flat magnet was used to collect all metals around the house. The dumpster parked in the driveway, to hold all refuse, was towed away. Later, in the mail, I received a Thank you card along with a $50.00 gift card to a local restaurant! I would, however, like to say that, Mr. Jim Marks, the first person I met from Roof Smart and drew up my contract, was a very pleasant man with whom I enjoyed conversing. He was an "A-1" sales representative of the company and with deep regret, learned much later, had passed away soon after I had met him. I mention this because, though the company may have been in mourning, the work continued, and DONE WELL. I have photos..

  • Roof Smart of SW Florida
My original call was to have the fascia re-nailed or replaced around the house. They responded quickly. While checking the soffit and fascia around the lanai, Eryn discovered some rotting wood. Further investigation revealed the flat roof needed replaced. I asked Eryn to check the rest of the house. The flat deck was the only area that needed replaced. Everyone I spoke with, worked with, and asked questions to, was very polite, professional and and willing to explain any question or concern I had. The work crews were were excellent! Everyone was very professional. They seemed to have been very well trained. The work area was cleaned each day. It feels good to know that my new roof meets all the new codes

  • Roof Smart of SW Florida
The price quoted was fair based on other competitive bids. Took 4 days to complete, with one weekend and one weekday where there was no work performed. Finished product was good to excellent. They willingly came back to tweak a few areas that I had identified, and cleaned up the worksite well. All in all, would recommend them. They will be the vendor to beat when I replace my shingle roof in a few years

How much is siding a house valued at?

The price of installing siding on a house relies on so many components that it’s hard to offer a good estimate without all of the information. Generally, though, median prices for installing new siding on a house range from $2,900 to $44,000.

Some things that play a role in the cost of your siding job include:

  • The home’s size. Bigger homes require more siding material, and that drives up the price. It also increases the time needed to install the additional siding, which will increase labor costs.
  • The type of siding usually has an impact on the cost. Vinyl and aluminum siding tend to be the cheapest at $2 to $4 per square foot, on average. Brick siding costs $3 to $10 per square foot, on average, and stone veneer costs $8 to $11 per square foot, on average.
  • Extra work required to hang siding. If your siding contractor must get into extra prep work prior to putting up siding, you’ll probably end up spending more for their services. That might include pressure washing to get rid of mold or debris or replacing damaged wood.

Contacting siding professionals in your area is a great way to understand how much your siding project might cost. Narrow down your search to a handful of promising candidates, and get estimates from all of them.

Siding offers numerous benefits for any home. Attractive new siding enhances curb appeal, which can help if you put it up for sale. The best choice in siding can also protect your home against the elements, such as wind and rain, while diminishing the scope of energy you put into upkeep. Vinyl siding, for example, needs no paint.
