RUN!!!! Stay away!!! Worst customer service and poor quality workmanship. Job over 100 days overdue and still not right for a 2 day gutter job. Lies lies lies they will tell you anything to get the contract and never deliver. Save your money. They installed new downspout on old gutters. They installed the spouts backwards so they leak. The gutter accumulated water. They installed all the way to the ground leaving no room for run off. I had to do all the work, no customer Service, make all the phone calls, contact the company, tell them about the lack of completion. Always with promises to follow up and never do.

We’re still unclear as to why there is dissatisfaction, especially considering the work has been fully completed, photo-documented, and publicly viewable. We welcome anyone to drive by the property to see the completed results for themselves. Additionally, since the invoice was sent out, we have received no formal complaints or communication expressing unresolved issues. Throughout the project, we made multiple adjustments to accommodate your needs, and we kept you informed at every step by uploading updates to your portal. THANK YOU ROMAN ROOFING - This company has got to be THE BEST Roofing company around. Curtis, Marina and Erica treated me like a king. I had a sudden roof problem. I was very worried. I called them at 8:00am in the morning and someone was at my door by 9:15am that same morning. Total professionals. Considerate! Efficient! Courteous! And, most of all "KIND". I worked with Dave Racer to get my roof replaced. I went from shingle to metal. Dave was there every step of the way. Responsive via email/text/call whenever I needed him. Their showroom located in central Cape Coral was perfect for me to be able to go see the different styles and colors of metal in-person. The roof was installed on time, at the agreed amount, and passed inspections the first time without issue. I was able to make a couple of modifications to what I wanted without a problem. Three crews worked on the roof (tearoff, install, and fascia/gutters). All three were super respectful, clean, and nice to my overly-curious kids. The lawn and drivway were clear of debris / nails / tools every day before they left. I could not recommend Roman Roofing or Dave Racer more and I love my new standing-seam black metal roof.

BUYER BEWARE!! Roman roofing put the wrong color shingles on my house. I was unable to be there for the job and when I was finally able to get to the house to see the finished product they put the wrong color it. I have a notarized contract with the color I chose. There was no change order to indicate the color should have been changed. It's absolutely unacceptable for a business to so blatantly breach contract and then give a customer the run around. I followed every proper protocol, yet they still pulled a classic bait-and-switch maneuver. Now I'm stuck with the wrong color shingles that detracts the exterior paint scheme. They assured me the situation was being addressed, but then went totally radio silent. They will not return my messages. Such an unscrupulous, unethical company clearly has zero integrity or concern for their customers. You will surely find yourself in an infuriating, stressful, and financially damaging situation like mine. Consider this first-hand account a dire warning - BUYER BEWARE of this company!

Roman Roofing made a difficult repair on my standing seam metal roof in two days. The estimator James Andrews had a great solution to solve a water flow and leak problem. His idea was blessed by the Company engineer and he was able to perfectly match the existing panels that are 16 years old AND his experienced (30 years) father & son installation team Roberto & Carlos demonstrated skills that only years of experience can provide. Five Stars for a great job!

I did hours of research, interviewed eight contractors on round one , and drove them nuts with questions. When complete, I pretty much knew that Roman roofing would be my choice but to make myself happy I went through two round two with a lesser number of contractors and, as I suspected Roman was my choice. Since I Cannot say anything negative about the whole reroof process with Roman Roofing I will list the positives. I received a Detailed Estimate including all materials by brand name ( I wanted all materials from a single manufacturer) Price was mid range between 8 contractors interviewed which is where I like to be. My actual Start date was much earlier than estimated. Tear off of old shingles, two layers of underlayment, replacement of bad plywood, all plywood renailed to current code, New underlayment and drip edge installed ….all in one day. New shingles complete in one day Excellent cleanup after the job was complete. In addition , I felt comfortable throughout the whole process (except for the spending the money part) through the efforts of Roman Representative Ralph Chianese. He answered all my questions in detail and offered me insights into the insurance process that no other contractor even mentioned. Can’t say enough about Ralph but if all their reps are on a par with him you will be in good hands. That all said my Rating is 5 stars.

RUN AWAY from this company! Nothing but a pain from the start and through to the end! How does a "reputable" roofing company with so many "years of experience" get it so wrong? I would post pictures but that in not an option here. Problems with company and job (in order of how they occurred): 1.) Workers purposely broke many palm fronds that they deemed "in their way" destroying trees in the process. 2.) Left a lot of shingles, debris and nails laying around the yard after tear off. 3.) FAILED FIRST INPECTION! This was because the peel and stick underlayment was not laid down flat. Yes, you read that right NOT FLAT. THis is such a rookie mistake it's disgusting. (Dry-in inspection) 4.) Installed a ridge vent that should not have been installed. The ridge vent was installed 3.5 feet from a Solar Power Exhaust Fan vent. Anyone who knows anything about roofing knows this is a mistake. They had to come back out, remove ridge vent, seal and shingle ridge which is how it should have been done from the start. 5.) FAILED FINAL INSPECTION! 6.) Damaged gutter causing the gutter to overflow. Had to come back to fix. 7.) Left 8 open bundles of shingles and 1.5 cans of 5 gal roofing cement in front yard landscaping. Was not even aware that it was there until I called to inform them a week after the job was finished. 7.) Very poor communication An incredibly lousy experience. I hope the roof holds up!

We worked with Roman Roofing in 2019 when they installed a new metal roof on our house on Fort Myers Beach, Florida. They were excellent to work with, very attentive and helpful, and we were extremely satisfied with the final results and the fair price. A large project like that has its challenges, but they worked hard to meet them to our satisfaction. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to others.

They lied from the very beginning. They sent 2 crews on 2 separate days - both were drunk. They caused thousands of dollars of damage to my house and property. I caught them tearing off good healthy plywood. When I tried to speak with the production manager “Mike,” he said “ I should have walked away from that piece of **** roof. I’m pulling my crew off of there.” They then abandoned the job. Then, their sales manager, “Robert Hatch” came out. Within 5 minutes he threatened me and my family. He also tried to extort me into removing my online reviews. When I refused, he left. Now I have a roof that is 1/3 done and exposed. I also have thousands of dollars of damage to my home and property. What kind of company does this to a senior citizen at Christmas time?

Roman Roofing was highly recommended to us by our neighbor. Daniel Stamps gave us a bid on removing our old tile roof and replacing with our roof with new tiles. Daniel was very knowledgeable, efficient and represented his company well. From the beginning, Roman Roofing employees were here when they said they would be, they are hard workers, and cleaned the area before they left. We are very pleased with the complete experience. We are happy to recommend their work ethic on a job well done.

Tile Roof replaced quickly and in less time than promised. Crews worked extremely hard and made a lot of effort to protect vegetation, pool, and AC. Priced lower than any other proposal. Looks great. Many times, people walking by have stopped and gone on and on about how beautiful it looks. 5+ stars.

Absolutely perfect in every respect from cost to quality. Ralph was our contact with Roman Roofing. He spent countless hours dealing with our Insurance Company. Great people and a great company. From Ralph the salesman through Alan and Devon the project managers Roman delivered on time every time. I researched steel roofs extensively since I know they are the best hurricane sturdy roof and last 30 plus years. Roman was selected for their experience, price, and workmanship. I spoke with Norm the owner and told him give me a roof we can both be proud of. He and his staff delivered on that promise. They cleaned up every day after work and installed my roof in a week. My wife smiles every time she sees the sun gleam off our new roof. I will highly recommend them to family and friends. Quality company doing quality work by quality people. Put me down as a very satisfied customer!

Even with all of my years experience, I don't see how things could have went any better. As a retired 34 year veteran of building subdivisions I can honestly say that my overall experience with Roman Roofing on my personal home was good enough in all areas to be quite surprising and even far better than I expected. They started and finished in 1 week from the start date. Even though there were significant issues discovered once the old roof was removed, the repairs were made quickly, without delay and at a price that was quite fair. I am well pleased.

I recommend this company, and if i had to do it again i think I would choose Roman. The work seems to have been done well, the workers seemed competent and courteous. Everyone I had verbal interaction with seemed professional. The work took nearly 6 weeks from removing the old roofing to the installation of gutters and downspouts (by what i believe was a sub-contractor). However, there is a general lack of good communication skills with this company. One day, as I was getting ready for work, a small crew showed up to install the skylight tube. As there had been no warning this was going to happen on this nor any particular day, I had to get my retired brother-in-law to come over to babysit the work so I would not have to miss work. Calls and emails made to various members of the company went ignored, so i was left in the dark about schedule and progress. The gutter and downspout installation was apparently done by a subcontractor (with a different company name than Roman on his vehicles). This was another surprise appearance....and the contractor was cursing my landscaping and the fence on the sides of my property for making the installation a challenge (how many homes do not have fencing and landscaping?!). When paying the final bill, I was surprised to find that a bunch of plywood was needed for replacement, hence a higher cost than the original price quote. .......I think mainly on the shed, as later I found the shed was infested with termites. Again with the communication! IF workers found they had to replace nearly the entire plywood sheathing on a 8x14 shed because of termite damage, wouldn't it make sense to communicate this to the homeowner?! rather than replacing the wood and saying nothing? So, again, I say the work was done well by Roman, but there's room for improvement in the communication aspect, on all levels of this company.

Roman Roofing did a great job replacing our roof and gutters. The work was done in a very acceptable and professional way. They even replace a minor tear in a screen discovered after the project was completed and signed off. Ralph Chianese was the salesman who was most easy to work with and did a great job.
