"We were originally only looking for piano movers and were dismayed at first by their minimum (2 hrs I think? Common practice though, I suppose). The two fellows that showed up were ten minutes early, super quick yet careful, and very respectful. In those 6 hrs, Justin and crew had moved EVERYTHING we owned- which proved to be more than we thought (as always!)."

"The move went well until the destination point which was a storage unit. Only 1 day laborer showed up to assist unloading. I was told that ALL of Modern Movers were hired directly by them and were bonded and also had a background check. To make a long story short I had to hire my own people to assist with the unloading and did not have enough time to check off each and every item as all my goods were wrapped in paper with the numbers attached to the actual piece of furniture. Modern Movers boasts that the trailers are divided into sections so there's no worry about my goods being mixed up with someone else's. Well, low and behold the first item off the truck was not mine. Also, I was unaware that my furniture would be dismantled to save room. Some of the items are antiques and now I can't find the original fasteners which devalues their worth. I could go on and on but I would never, ever hire Modern Movers. I tried several times to speak with someone about my issues and did not receive a response."
