"South Cooling provided an exceptional service. Technicians arrived on time and were able to fix the issues of concern in a timely fashion. I would recommend this company to whomever needs their AC fixed. Prices were also very reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received. I was very pleased with the overall service(s)."

"The owner is very punctual returning calls within minutes.  The estimate was done quickly, efficiently and the job was fairly priced for the amount of cleaning and square footage involved.  The finished product is that the tile floors look like they did 5 years ago when they were installed.  The carpeting which was very dirty looks almost as good as new which was quite a task.  The floor cleaners were polite and prompt and in fact cleaned the bathroom floor tiles which was not included in the estimate....a nice surprise for my 97 year old mother who lives in the condominium.  We were all quite pleased and would not hesitate to recommend Fairway.

"Everything was fine. The provider showed up on time and accepted my energy rebate from FPL so my out of pocket expense was much lower.  I don't know much about the product that was installed or the quality of installation but it seems fine.

Install Boiler questions, answered by experts

The most important sign of a boiler problem is something happening unexpectedly, which is why regular boiler maintenance is important. Unexpected problems can include strange smells, new leaks, and unexpected noises that your boiler wasn’t making before. Additionally, if a boiler keeps shutting off or can’t maintain a specific temperature range, it’s time to call in an expert.

It can take anywhere from four hours to three days to replace a boiler with a new one. How long your particular boiler installation takes will depend on whether you need a gas line installed and if you’re switching to a new boiler system.

Replacing a combination boiler or standard boiler with the same system should only take four to six hours. Meanwhile, switching from a conventional boiler system to a combination boiler system could take a few days.

Unless they are connected to the same system, boilers and water heaters will both need their own expansion tanks. The only case they wouldn’t have separate expansion tanks is if the boiler is pulling double duty and managing a heating system while also supplying hot water for a home. In which case, you may not need a hot water heater.

In some cases, conversion kits are available, but not all boilers are compatible. Conversion may require significant modifications and should only be performed by a qualified professional. Before making a decision, compare conversion costs to the cost of a complete replacement to determine the most cost-effective and reliable option for your home.

The average cost to replace or install a new HVAC system is around $7,500. However, the price can range from $5,000 to $12,500, depending on factors like the size of your home, the type and brand of the unit, and your specific heating and cooling needs. If you only need to replace certain components, the cost will be lower; for example, a new AC unit can cost between $2,200 and $5,500, while a new furnace costs $3,200 to $6,000. If additional work like new ductwork is required, the total cost could be as high as $22,000. It's best to contact a local HVAC company for an accurate quote.
