Communication could have been better, as it took two days to nail down an appointment — despite my open schedule — and the installers were significantly late (arriving at 1:40 P.M. for a 10-11 A.M. appointment) without any form of notice. As I needed to puchase carpet as well as have it installed, we decided to meet-up at his showroom (Plantation Foors, near the Plantation/Davie border, just west of 441). I selected the quality/thickness of carpet pad and then selected the color/brand/style of carpet that I wanted. I was re-carpeting a 1Br/1 Bath condo (neutral/beige colors) for re-sale. Since k ithen, bath, front-entry/foyer areas were already tiled, I onlyneeded < 700 sq. ft. of carpet. The total price (including remove, install & tax was about $2450. Ouch!! But I was on a timeline and I needed it done right the first time. John's sub-contract installers were good. The job took about 6 hrs (incl. 1/2hr lunchbox lunch) for the installers and there were no problems."
