"DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY We chose Jack Rabbit based on a recommendation from a friend, expecting professionalism, transparency, and quality service. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. At the time I was gathering quotes, my husband, a professional engineer was not home. He also wasn’t present during the installation. To ensure clarity, I had Jack Rabbit’s engineer/salesperson speak with him by phone. That conversation quickly turned tense, as the salesperson was dismissive and disrespectful toward my husband’s expertise. It was clear the salesperson was more concerned with defending his ego than engaging in an honest, informed discussion. With temperatures soaring and no AC for a few days, I made a rushed decision to move forward with Jack Rabbit, trusting that they would honor their agreement to match a competitor’s quote not just in price, but in equipment and specifications. That promise was a key reason I chose them. Sadly, what we received did not reflect that commitment. The AC unit installed was not the higher-end model we were led to expect, and the discrepancy only came to light after the fact. I left messages for upper management and the owner, hoping to discuss our disappointment and give the company an opportunity to acknowledge where things went wrong. To date, I have received no return call. That silence speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service and accountability. This experience has left us feeling misled and disappointed. What should have been a straightforward and respectful transaction turned into a frustrating ordeal marked by poor communication, broken promises, and a lack of integrity and money out the window. Now that we’ve paid thousands of dollars, to include a one-year service agreement, I find myself asking: do I even dare have them come back? Can I trust them to do right by us? Sadly, they already have our money, and based on this experience, I have little confidence they’ll stand behind their work. If you’re considering this company, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Reputation means nothing without integrity, and based on my experience, Jack Rabbit does not stand behind their word or their work. Positive Note: The installer Dejour was excellent, so patient and understanding. So professional and took the time to explain things to me, when others from the company wouldn't clarify.
