"we were absolutely elated when this job was done. CHARLES came to our house was very very professional explained everything to us answered all of our questions. There was no confusion we knew exactly what we’re getting into exactly what it was going to cost, and we were never left, wondering about anything. Except why we hadn’t called him sooner. CHARLES and his small team came to our house and did a job that left us speechless. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. If you need Insulation, don’t make a mistake and call anywhere else. These people were incredible. They cleaned up after themselves like they weren’t even there at all. The temperature of my house is the real proof of the excellent job they did. If you’re looking for affordable, professional, efficient, and effective, I suggest you call him today for a free estimate.!!"

"Great experience the way business should be conducted in all respects. You canâ t lose with these guys if you need insulation, and I saw their equipment and they do all types of foam, a rarity in this area, as I have checked. The install quality, SUPURB! I would have given them more stars, but the system would not let me."

"Reliance Air Services Inc. has gone above and beyond, again! I called Reliance Air Services on 3/20/23 because my A/C was blowing warm air. After I flushed and vacuumed the line, normal homeowner maintenance, still no luck and warm air. Xavier from Reliance Air Services Inc came out for the service call. After thoroughly checking both A/C systems, he discovered a freon leak inside the upstairs unit handler, showed me the problem, and explained how and what could have caused it. Xavier even cleaned the downstairs unit coils as a courtesy. Xavier promptly ordered the needed parts and scheduled the repair with my approval. On 3/27(due to my schedule) Shane arrived to complete the repair. Shane has over 22 years of experience and it showed. After the repair was completed, Shane discovered an 8 year old A/C install mistake that was done by the company (Simpson Air) who originally installed my A/C units when my home was built. Even the county inspector missed it. I inserted that company name because this is my transparent review and experience. That company has agreed to fix the issues after several phone calls. Shane from Reliance Air Services Inc was very professional, respectful of my home & property and he took this time to insure everything was done right. Reliance Air customer service lady was very attentive to my needs and professional. I would definitely recommend Reliance Air Services Inc. This is my second experience with Reliance the level of customer service, principles & standards has not changed. I'm very thankful."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

When installing metal siding, a high-quality house wrap is considered the best protection against condensation and moisture infiltration. House wraps can increase a home's efficiency significantly. However, a house wrap is not a replacement for a vapor barrier because it can be permeable when moist air passes through siding. This is why it's essential to follow manufacturer instructions for insulating siding when installing new siding.

Yes, there are government incentives available in some regions for insulating air ducts as part of energy-efficient upgrades. These incentives aim to encourage homeowners and businesses to improve energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint. To determine whether you qualify for such incentives, check with your local utility company or government agencies. They often offer rebates, tax credits, or other financial incentives that can help offset the cost of duct insulation projects.

Actually, condensation can mean that your windows are more energy efficient because the seal keeps cold air out and warm air in. In some cases, windows with poor seals can lead to more condensation, but they may allow the cold and warm air to mix and reduce condensation. If you’re worried about whether or not your windows are properly insulated, have a pro assess them.

Yes, insulating your cold water pipes is a great way to prevent condensation. When warm, humid air meets cold pipes, condensation forms, which can drip and cause moisture issues in your home. Pipe insulation acts as a barrier between the warm air and the cold pipes, keeping condensation at bay and helping you avoid potential problems like mold or structural damage.

While carpet over carpet may provide some additional insulation and soundproofing benefits, it's not as effective as other methods. Layering carpets can add a modest buffer against noise and temperature fluctuations, but it's limited compared to installing thicker carpet padding or using specialized soundproofing materials. For optimal floor insulation and soundproofing, consider alternative solutions tailored to your specific needs and budget, such as adding additional padding or soundproofing underlayments beneath the carpet.
