Love Executive Cooling and Heating! We have been doing business with Tom Haas and his crew for 20+years. We purchase the service agreement at a very reasonable rate and they service our AC twice a year! Thomas, the air conditioning tech, is amazing! He is thorough and truly completes each of the checkpoints. He also documents it with photos so he can show you the work he has completed on each visit! He is personable, professional and thorough. He is able to answer questions and make recommendations which I believe prolongs the efficiency of my system! He is a real asset to Executive Air!

They come every six months on a service agreement.?The agreement costs me $110 or something like that a year, and they come out twice for that. Actually, they installed this unit. They've been very good about if anything goes wrong, they will get out here.?The people are professional, and they know what they're doing.? They show up, they fix it, and that's the most important thing.

Tom and his team did a great job. I live in VA and they replaced my HVAC while I was not there. Tom suggested a new return in the MBR and relocating the air handler to the attic to save space in the garage to increase efficiency. He even arranged to have boxes and trash removed from the attic for me. Great guy and the new Trane system is working great. They were not the cheapest but I feel the Trane system is worth the extra cost.

Fantastic!  They said the would be there at 8:00am, and they were.  3 young men, very pleasant, hard workers.  They did all the work with a smile and a pleasant attitude.  One of the even fixed my dryer vent while he was up in the attic!

Went very well. Most of the job finished up in one day.

The new air handler was a new corrosion proof unit that Trane had come out with and the doors didn't quiet fit well, so the guys at Executive had their Trane expert come out and look at it and had them order in a whole new unit.

Took an extra day but it was worth it to have a system that saves me almost $200 a month during the summer.

They also had to retrofit the valances to make the new air handler fit. They also added a return in the kitchen to make sure that stays cool as well.

Got a 20 SEER unit with heat pump dual condensers, and new corrosion proof air handler for a fraction of what I thought it would cost. Also they debunked some of the other estimates I had gotten requiring new duct work etc.

Going into my 3rd year of excellent service with no problems.

Owner stopped by twice to check on the installation. Great service.

I would recommend to anyone.

Executive Cooling and Heating came out the same day I called them. They diagnosed the problem and made our A/C blower run all the time, until the correct blower relay board could be ordered and installed. This kept our home cool, until it could be repaired. They ordered the part on a Monday and by Wednesday, the part was in and installed the same day.
The technician was friendly and professional, on both trips to our home.
I would not hesitate to call Executive again, for any service that they provide!

.serviceman was very professional best part of experience, but very disappointed in company and their fees and attitude. they gave us quote over phone and said more or less take it or leave it. Also we are finding out the unit we have has had a lot of repair problems and trane is getting a lot of complaints. I would steer people away from this trane unit, we had it installed about 3-1/2 years ago.

Overall the service was better than expected. The day I called the woman who answered the phone was nice and helpful. The next day the technician showed up earlier than expected and fixed the problem immediately. The technician left behind the part he replaced for my review. This is where the problem starts.
Out of curiosity I went online to see how much the part cost. I checked eBay and several other companies and found the average price was between $9-$10 dollars. Executive Cooling and Heating charged me $164.71 for the Capacitor. I assumed this was a billing error and called the company the very next day (Friday) to speak with them about the bill. I was briefly put on hold and then told the owner was not in but I could expect a call from him on Monday.

On Monday October 1st, 2012 I received a call from a gentleman who identified himself as "Tom".. I explained my situation to Tom and asked if there was a billing error. Without hesitation Tom said there was no error. Tom even went on to say that he pays a little over $8 for the capacitor he replaced. I find it very troubling that I must pay $155 profit for this or any other part. The total bill was $254.71,
$90 was the typical call out fee which I think we all agree is fair. It seems that the excessive fee may account for Tom not bing there on Friday?
I would encourage anyone having any work done request that all replacement parts be left with the homeowner.

We explained to him, that our overhead which includes insurance on trucks, general liability, workmans compensation, wages, FICA, trucks, health insurance, office staff, phone bills, backround checks, technician training, advertising budget etc. runs about $30,000 a month. This is so we can guarantee a qualified technician arrives at their door. Our service man Jim had approximately an hour and 15 mins in job, including the travel. Trained office staff to answer the phone calls and set the schedule. We use flat rate pricing just like the automotive industry. This is done so the customer knows up front what the charge will be so they can give their approval. Im sorry that [member name removed]feels differently but we need to be able to charge a fair amount to be able to provide 24/hr service with only the best people."

We recieved several estimates from area companies and chose Executive even though they were not the lowest bid. All the bids were within $500.00 of each other. We went with Executive because they came highly recommended and they were extremely prompt and professional. The install was done in a very timely manner and the work looked very professional. I have some experience in HVAC work and could tell it was a good job. As we live out of state the work was done in our absense. We were present when the local city inspector performed the final inspection, and his remarks that the company always did good work were appreciated. We also called the company to ask a question about the operation of the system and a representative came to show us how to operate the system. We also asked about the possiblity of getting a ceiling vent to match the ones that they had installed, to cover up an old recessed light fixture. The manager came over within the hour, measured the vent, called us back in an a few minutes to tell us he would have one the next day. The next day one of the techs came by and installed the vent, then told us there was no charge. They are a great company to do business with and I would highly recommend them.
