"Assured storm protection made my hurricane shutter install steam less and stress free. The associates were incredibly professional and efficient, they helped prepare all the paperwork to submit to the association and even took care of the coconut creek city application. The prices are extremely competitive compared to other quotes I received from other companies. I had the entire first floor of my house done by them, that included two double sliding doors and nine windows. The super nova shutters are discreet and match the color of my house so you hardly even notice them. Overall I am very pleased with them and now feel much safer as we approach hurricane season."

"We did receive serval quotes and found this to be the best. This was our first time having to get our association approval to add shutters, they took a long time. But once the approval was received our shutters were up in approximately 4-5 weeks. They did an excellent job. If I ever had any questions they were immediately answered. I highly recommend them."

"It went extremely well - from the moment I called for urgent service to when the owner arrived to repair the window. He had to take it out of the frame to repair it in the shop and w as to return at night to reinstall it. It was picked up at 11am and I received a call at 3pm to say it was ready. The window was all repaired by 3:30. I will definitely use them again."

Customers say: Quick response
"I met with Willy twice and after getting 3 quotes, I chose Fantastic4Blinds. He was the first one to respond to my request for a quote. He gave a good presentation of his products, answered all if my questions, was not pushy, but left me with a good impression so I went with this company. Willy did a great job installing all of the shades, my window treatments look great. I made a great decision."

Metal is one of the best types of hurricane shutters because they are the most durable and longest lasting option. This shutter type will likely cost more than other materials like plywood, but metal hurricane shutters are a permanent solution compared to the temporary nature of putting plywood over your windows during a hurricane. You should also consider hurricane panels and automatic roll-down shutters that are useful for emergency situations.
In most cases, custom window treatments are well worth the investment. Custom window treatments not only elevate your curb appeal and make your home more visually pleasing inside, but they also often do a better job of boosting your home’s energy efficiency than non-custom treatments, and they usually last longer. Plus, specialty window treatments can increase your home value if maintained well, so your investment is more worthwhile in the long run in most cases, too.
Hurricane shutters cost about $3,700 on average, ranging from $1,500 to 5,900, depending on the style, size, materials, and your location. Materials may include metal, plastic, fabric, or wood.
Additional cost factors to consider include the number of windows, the time of year you install, and necessary permits. Keep in mind that if you purchase and install hurricane shutters during hurricane season, namely June through November in most states, you can expect to pay more due to increased demand.
Window replacement costs between $180 and $410 per window, or an average of $280 per window. However, your specific replacement job could cost as little as $100 or as much as $750. Factors such as frame material, the number of windows you need, and the type of glass you order all impact the overall cost. For example, simple double-glazed windows will cost $3 to $6 per square foot, but the stronger tempered glass ranges from $12 to $14 per square foot.
Custom window treatments cost around $900 per window, and prices usually fall between $150 and $4,800. Your total will depend on many factors, including the type of window treatment, the amount and size of the windows, your home’s location, and the labor cost. Blinds and shutters tend to be the most affordable custom window treatments at $600 to $2,700, and the most expensive options are valances, drapes, curtains, and estate shutters, costing up to $3,000.
