"NOTE: This review applies to accordion hurricane shutters, but is posted under awnings because I couldn't find a category specifically for hurricane shutters. Sal was courteous, efficient, and conscientious. He and his assistant repaired the accordion shutter system around our large butt glass bay window so that the shutters would open and close easily. The tracks were installed with very sharp angles at the points of the bay window, making it very difficult to work the guides around the tracks. The job involved removing the entire shutter assembly, replacing all the wheels on the vanes, grinding down the sharp angles on the tracks, reinstalling the vanes, and lubricating all the moving parts. It was a difficult and time-consuming process, but Sal made sure that everything worked correctly by the time he finished. He showed me how to open and close the shutters in the future without damaging the mechanism, and he serviced the two other sets of accordion shutters on our home. I also enjoyed working with Holly on the phone to schedule the work. She was a pleasure -- very knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend Suncoast Awning and Shutters."

"Outstanding process and finished work. I chose 3 companies from Angi's to bid. Shutter services was the middle bidder in price, but had the top of the line shutter. The other two companies were pricing a lower quality shutter. Every step went smooth, super friendly/professional, and the installation was superb and quick. I was also expecting the installation to be louder, since drilling into concrete, but even the noise was minimal. The work area was thoroughly cleaned after installation.
