We first had them put shutters on all of the windows of our house a few years ago, and then later called them to add a shutter on one door. From their office staff to their installation crew, they were all very efficient and friendly . In the office, Anne Marie, Shelly and Tatianna took care of everything from preparing the paperwork for our POA and HOA architectural review meetings to submitting the documents for the city inspection and scheduling the inspection after completion of the installation . They also communicated with us and kept us updated at each stage of the process . On the job, the crew was also very professional and friendly, the installation went smoothly, they left the place very cleaned and explained us how to operate and take care of our new hurricane shutters . Nothing but good things to say about the folks at Guardian Storm Protection. I posted on Nextdoor asking for recommendations for hurricane shutters, the accordion style. I received lots of suggestions, but several people all said Guardian. I contacted them and they sent someone out immediately. The tech arrived and examined my windows. He showed me options and even had a working model on hand I could text out and review. He provided documentation for me to peruse as well. I asked for a quote and he gave me one on the spot. It was HIGHLY competitive with the rates I had been quoted by others so I didn’t really need to hear anymore and decided to go with them. I had even considered not doing two of the smaller windows, but the quote was so reasonable I had them do all the openings. I reviewed some paperwork. He drew a map showcasing where each window was and the three large sliding glass doors. He explained they would handle everything with the permitting and the HOA. I have a difficult to reach HOA liaison, but they even helped with that, sending multiple emails and phone calls. The process really couldn’t have been easier. We had a date scheduled for install immediately. They filed their paperwork with the city right away. Got the HOA locked in. And then just waited for the install date. Install was quick and painless (for me, not for the hard working installer). Shutters were put up. Inspector came a few days later and reviewed everything and signed off. Honestly, it was a breeze from the customer side. Really happy I went with them and looking forward to the first hurricane season in years where I don’t have to spend a day putting up shutters! From my initial call to schedule an appointment to the installation and follow through of work we are very happy and impressed. When I called Guardian they were able to make me an appointment in a very timely manner. Brett came to our home and reviewed our goals and assisted us with the best product to replace our roll down shutters that were not to current code for insurance purposes or proper protection. He was very personable and did not pressure us into a decision. We decided to proceed at the initial appointment to get the process started so we would have everything installed prior to the peak of hurricane season. The staff at Guardian was very proactive, courteous, and helpful with the process. They reached out and advised us on next steps and helped get HOA approval right away and also part of their process is to have the owner Andy come out to recheck measurements before going to production. As soon as Guardian received the roll down shutters they were in touch with me to schedule installation. I happened to be home for the installation and I was really impressed by Geo and the rest of the installation crew that was sent out that got the job done quick and efficiently. After installation I had a few questions and items I needed and Shelly reached out immediately and made sure everything was handled as well as coordinated an inspection within 24 hours which passed inspection by the city. In the end I appreciated the personal touch from the owner Andy to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. This was a very small job compared to others they do but was given the same attention of a larger one. During our initial appointment with Brett we learned they manufacture their own accordions. We wish we met them sooner and had them do our accordions on a previous home that had 20+ windows. Based on all the team members attention to detail and delivering on all promoses if timing and services I can see why they have so many amazing reviews and super service awards for so multiple years. We are very happy and highly recommend others to reach out for all their hurricane protection needs. We will be referring them to our friends and family.

We hired this company after researching and price comparisons with other reputable companies. We hired Guardian for our windows because their shutters offered features that competitors did not. When we paid our deposit we were told we would get installed within three months and the estimate was close. We are very pleased with our shutters. The installers were super professional. You can tell that they knew what they were doing. They did not miss a beat at the installation. The office staff was super helpful as we waited for our installation date to come. They did a great job. the inspector came from the county, and he told me that it was good and passed the inspection. so far we haven't got any hurricane yet but for protection and safety, the shutters would do its work then.

Great company. Very professional. They look wondeful. Easy to open & close. Not only is there a knob to close them, there is also a lock for them. Installation was quick. Would definitely refer this company to anyone who wants quality. You don't pay them until completion and after they have an inspection.

Excellent job. Took a while, but the wait was well worth it. Very, very professional from top to bottom - salesperson, office staff, installers, all the way up to the owner. Took time to explain how to operate them as well as gave me video in case I forget. Their practice is not to charge any $$ until the inspection is completed which means they waited almost 6 weeks for PBC to send their inspector. That's an A++ in my book.

They are so busy and we have had so much rain they got behind schedule. That being said, it’s worth the wait. They did a great job and the crew was nice as well. They reall know exactly what they are doing.

They were the most expensive, but the only company of the three I got an estimate from who said their shutters would stack tightly enough to allow me to have accordions over my front door. This saved me from having to either buy a hurricane impact door or have panels over the front door. That's why I gave them an A for price as well. They handled everything about the HOA approval and the building permit. They also cut back a gutter a little and re-capped it to get clearance around one of my windows. One of the other providers said I'd have to get that done on my own. I ordered beige shutters on every window except for one window for which I wanted ivory because it would sit on an ivory-trimmed window. They mistakenly brought out all beige shutters. When I pointed out the mistake, they had their shop cut ivory shutters for that window and brought them out and got them installed before the end of the day. No push-back or complaints at all on their end.

I ordered accordion shutters for the whole house (23 windows/sliders) in June. They had a team of folks here to install them in September. Installation took about 4 hours. A very professional job from start to finish. About 6 guys doing the drilling, cutting, installation and caulking. They came out looking and functioning great. I do highly recommend Guardian. They really know what they are doing.
