"I live in Apollo Beach and had a sprinkler pump that had stopped working. I called the people that installed the pump. It was about 5 years old. They told me that I needed a new pump and that the pump I had was not the correct one (even though their company installed it).That a new 40' line from the well to the pump was needed. They quoted me $3500. I knew better. I called Bay Area Pump and Well Service right here in Apollo Beach. Wesley Carter and his son came out right on time. They diagnosed the problem as a bad check valve at the well connection and replaced it. They also cleaned out my jet pump and redid the input plumbing into the pump. Installed a ball valve. He explained to me why and how the pump malfunctioned and what he did. They were respectful, courteous and professional. Their charge for parts and service was $200 that included a service charge. They saved me a lot of money. They will be recommended to my family and friends if they need this service.They are honest and reliable."

"Another great experience with Vanguard. My main water line to the house sprung a leak at 2pm on a Saturday. I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. David (tech) texted me 30 min later and said he could come earlier on Monday which was great, and when I explained what was happening in more detail, he offered to come out right then, on a Saturday! "Mark and his team were beyond awesome. After the first pump just after Christmas, I continued to try leach field treatments and tricks but no luck. Mark and his team started work first week in March and had two prices, one with a standard drain field and the other with an overflow tank and pump. With current code and drainage requirements mine needed the additional tank and pump put in. The whole job takes about five days and that's with prep, clearing, installation and inspection. So, give yourself time and patience but don't think it will fix itself. Mark showed me an old drain line which was completely clogged with roots and although the others were clear, there was good soil to allow biomat drainage. Bottom line, these guy's know what they're doing and offer a great price compared to other contractors."
