"I had poor water pressure I was told by the technician I needed to change my tank and it would work so the price of 1,988 he changed the tank and I got no better water flow. I was then told for another $5,200 they could make it work properly I'm going to fixed income they already hit me for $1988 it doesn't work and now they want more money"

"The provider was supposed to come and diagnose my well as the water was not flowing to the water diffuser. He then said that he would need to find the well to run a diagnosis. When asked, he said that if they are able to find the well quickly, it would be around 300 plus the 85 for the diagnosis, or if he had to be there all day, it would cost 1200 plus the 85. After 1 hour, they found the well. They then hooked up a pump and checked. They then ran 50 gallons of water to make sure the well pump was operational (which it is) and stated it was in fine working order. He then went to proceed to my water treatment system and told me that my .5 hp pump was malfunctioning or not powerful enough (it has worked fine for 3 years and still does), that my equalibrum pumps were full of water and malfcunioning (which they still work) and then told me the full cost of the jobwould be 6100 or her could jerry rig the pipes and re pipe and bypass my system for 3105. I said that that was ridiculous as there us nothing wrong with my system and that it was just the valve. At this point, all he wanted was money. He tried to get me to finance the job, and after that did not work, he refused to leave without payment. I went inside for a few moments and told him to have his secretary call me back within 30 minutes with the quote and for payment. At that very moment, he packed up all his equipment, put the cap back on the well and literally ran off to another job. Leaving me with no solution, a dug-up yard, a complete mess, and no water to my house. He demanded I pay 1285, but it can be used as a down payment for the remainder of the job if we decide to move forward. Later that night, I messaged him and told him that we would not be moving forward with the job and that I would like a reimbursement of 800 because he found the well quickly. I generously offered him 200 per hour and 85 for the consult (total of 485) for the 2 hours of labor and the consult. He then went completely manic on me via text and even became racist at one point. I have screenshots of the text messages."

"Another great experience with Vanguard. My main water line to the house sprung a leak at 2pm on a Saturday. I have used Vanguard in the past and was very happy with them, so I called and got an appointment for Monday and was OK being without water for a day or so. David (tech) texted me 30 min later and said he could come earlier on Monday which was great, and when I explained what was happening in more detail, he offered to come out right then, on a Saturday! I explained that I could wait until Monday, but he insisted, and was there in a hour, and had it fixed 45min later. Thank you David! And if you are looking for a plumber, don’t go anywhere else!"

"When I called, they answered right away and when I explained the problem, I was told that they would be at my house between 12 - 1 pm. They were at the house before 12:30, and fixed the problem right away (the water tank bladder had broken). Now we have a bigger perfectly working tank - and our water pressure is better than it's ever been (I have a feeling the bladder had damage to it when we moved in, because the pressure was never good). The only problem is that when the phone was answered, I heard a voice say it was an Angie's list customer. However, we didn't get the 5% discount. Although, I did not print out the coupon and forgot to tell my husband about it. Either way, their service was prompt and well done. Thank you!"
