"Sergio was awesome! We needed grab bars installed in our bathroom before my father-in-law moves in - tomorrow. He had the project completed within 24 hours of my first contact with him. He was very polite, professional, and did a great job. I will definitely reach out to him the next time I need repairs or remodel work!"

"Jessie, Paul and crew did an excellent job on removal of old shingles, replacement of underlying plywood and addition of plywood over existing plank roof. They covered entire roof with ice shield and Timberline HD shingles. I also had the crew repair and exterior wall and ventilation openings. Couldnâ t ask for better workmanship. The crew was great and before leaving picked up the entire area of old material. Great Company and crew!"

Mailbox Repair questions, answered by experts

To prepare furniture for moving, detach furniture legs if possible. If the legs must stay on, wrap them with foam wrap or taped blankets to help prevent damage. You can also buy dedicated moving “socks” for furniture legs.

Yes, in most cases it’s a good idea to wrap furniture in plastic to protect it from dirt, dust, and damage during storage. However, natural and porous materials such as wood or leather should have breathable fabric covers to prevent moisture damage from condensation. Either way, it’s always important to ensure proper ventilation to prevent moisture buildup, especially in humid climates.

Cupping and bowing are both types of wood warping, but they affect the board in different ways. Cupping happens when the edges of a board curl upward or downward, creating a concave or convex shape across its width. Conversely, bowing is when the board curves along its length, forming a gentle arc.

Depending on the quality of the leather, this type of upholstery can last anywhere from 5 to 20 years. The more time you invest in the care and protection of the leather, the longer your leather furniture is likely to last.

Yes, you can save moldy wood furniture by removing the mold as soon as you notice it. Mold can penetrate and damage porous wood, though, so waiting to clean it could lead to significant damage. If a large coverage area of mold grows over several months, you may want to ask a professional to try to save the piece. If the damage is bad enough, though, even a pro might not be able to save it.
