Their representative was reassuring and helpful, confirming they could address the issue that evening. Following contact with a representative, a plumbing technician, Tyler, promptly contacted me and arrived within 20 minutes to address a leaking pipe and a broken faucet. Tyler expertly repaired the faucet and replaced the damaged pipe, completing the work efficiently and effectively. My experience with Modern Plumbing Industries was exceptional, and I highly recommend their services, especially their readily available emergency services. "I first heard of this company when I was at Home Depot buying my home appliances and a guy came insisting on a Black Friday Deal “AC Tune up for only $8.88” if I could just think about how **** of a trickster this was …Never allowing this people come back inside my property again, totally scammers who will make your AC system fail, I’ve had COOL MODE WORKING PERFECTLY and my AC was giving me problems to Heating the house …inspector Ricardo who came and despite looking a good friendly person, he never finished the job on my AC pump upstairs due to “the NEST thermostat was in and out of fan”, tried charging me $380 just to do the thermostat installation, I refused and I did it myself, then there a fuse blown and he again told me it would cost $170 to simply change a “$8 fuse”!!! I refused again and as it wasnt enough now after I fixed the Fuse and Thermostat, just to find out they cut cooling system purposefully in the attempt to charge me for REPAIR, the AC fan is running and Thermostat is on Cooling mode but temperatures are reaching from 77F-85F leaving my family including my poor old grandmother suffering in the hot temperatures this entire time… THEY WANT TO RIP YOU OFF NO MERCY!!! DONT EVER TRUST THIS BUSINESS."

"Got a hold of Kiley and Sons to find and repair or a problem with a hot water heater. They showed up and instead of diagnosing the problem they charged me $740.00 to install a new water heater. After installation the new water would not work. Tech decided to finally call and seek assistance. Got directed to check circuit breaker and wiring. You guessed it, broken wire all along. Stripped it back and reinserted and problem solved. Diagnosis should have been done first since he actually tested wires on old heater and got no voltage but went ahead and installed new heater anyway. Poor company to deal with. Spread the word to avoid Kiley and Sons at all cost.” The above review gives this company an "A" for both responsiveness and punctuality They showed up quick with a new heater that was not needed just to make a sale."

"I had called Tropical Septic and Plumbing [9468 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32820] to check a slow draining sink. The friendly receptionist said a service call is $60 with an additional $60/hr. every half hour after. They'd have a technician here within 48 hours who would call me before coming. The tech showed up early and never called. He was courteous, cleaned up after himself and was here about an hour. When I got the invoice, it said: “Ran snake from under kitchen sink and cleared drain. $250.” I called Tropical, since that was a much higher cost than I had expected. The person Ido talked to before told me there’s a flat rate of $250 if the tech has to “snake” a drain, although in that case they do waive the $60 service fee. She apologized for not relaying that information to me when I first called. Within a week, although not as bad as before I noticed the same drain backing up. Thinking this may be covered under the original call, I called Tropical but was told they “can’t guarantee drains.” If they send out a technician, I’d be charged for a service call ($60). The amount would be higher if the tech had to use the snake. She added they could “maybe” give me a break, but no guarantees. Bottom line: I was not given the full cost information to begin with, and when the repair was ineffective I was told I’d have to pay more for them to return."
