"Luis’s and his team did a professional job paving my back yard as well as laying sod. The job was outstanding ! Very professional. We’re satisfied with the work, and we’re hiring him again to pave the side of our house. Furthermore, we asked him to re-sod, our front yard as well. We have recommended him to our neighbors who would like to have their yard removed and paved. My complaints to Luis and his team."

"Rick and his assistant Richard showed up promptly, on time. Explained to them that I wanted two Cat-6 Ethernet cables running from den to living room so that I could install cables into Roku boxes since I was getting spotty reception using WiFi. They accessed situation and neatly ran cables up the walls through the attic. They connected cables through Roku boxes, verified signals, and now I am getting outstanding picture/T.V. reception! After the install, they cleaned up meticulously and left the place spotless! For any cabling/networking/etc. needs, look no further than Digi Home Solutions."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

You should plant trees at least 15 to 20 feet away from your house, and more if the tree will grow large and spread its limbs. Trees pose several dangers to houses when planted too close. They can litter the roof with leaves and branches, create fire hazards, make a ladder for larger pests, and even damage the foundation as their roots grow.

If you are xeriscaping a lawn from scratch, your best bet for preparing the lawn is to work with a xeriscaping specialist in your area. The most common first step to making the transformation, however, will be to remove the turfgrass from your lawn. The subsequent steps will often include amending the soil to support new plants and installing low-drip or drip irrigation systems.

Pavers are one of the most affordable methods of creating an elevated outdoor space. Gravel is an equally affordable alternative. If your budget permits, you can look into building a permeable driveway to ensure proper drainage. Grid pavers, pervious concrete, brick, and brick pavement are all effective materials. Permeable driveways are great options, especially if you live in an area with heavy rainstorms.

Professional lakefront landscaping addresses environmental factors such as water level fluctuations, erosion control, and native plant suitability. Regular maintenance includes pruning, fertilization, and ensuring drainage systems function well.

A scattering of leaves won’t pose a problem through the winter, but a thicker layer of leaves may not decompose before the first frost and can instead weigh down your grass and harbor mold or fungi. A thick layer of leaves also cuts off light and air that grass needs to grow. That’s why we suggest removing thick leaf layers within several days if possible. If your lawn goes dormant over the winter and snow has already caught up with you, then remove the leaves in early spring before your grass-growing season starts so your lawn can thrive.
