"I have been using Dependable Landscaping for over a year and I could not be more complimentary of my services every single time we use them. From the amazing customer service to the affordable pricing, I’ve received several compliments over the last year on my landscaping. Dominic is always quick to respond, confirms upcoming service and has helped me with many services that I have been unable to perform myself. I could not recommend Dependable Landscaping enough for any and all needs. There is no job too big or too small that they cannot handle. Best in the business!"

"Luiz gave me an estimate that beat the other companies. He was professional and very relatable. I felt comfortable with him in charge of my paver driveway project. A couple days after I hired Dr. Philips Co, Luiz texted me that the pavers would be delivered and the space would be prepped. The job was completed the next day. From start to finish, his communication was excellent. Rotman prepped the space and move the crushed concrete to a different spot on my property so I could re-use it. That was awesome! The day of the job, the crew arrived at 7 am and worked hard in the heat. Luiz came over to check in during the job. The pattern of the pavers was flawless and the crew was highly skilled. The day after installation, Luiz applied the sealer. It turned out so beautiful! I am stoked to hire them again in the future. I had a great experience with Luiz and his team!"

"Rick and his assistant Richard showed up promptly, on time. Explained to them that I wanted two Cat-6 Ethernet cables running from den to living room so that I could install cables into Roku boxes since I was getting spotty reception using WiFi. They accessed situation and neatly ran cables up the walls through the attic. They connected cables through Roku boxes, verified signals, and now I am getting outstanding picture/T.V. reception! After the install, they cleaned up meticulously and left the place spotless! For any cabling/networking/etc. needs, look no further than Digi Home Solutions."

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

The soil around your foundation should slope down and away from your home, not toward it. If the grading drops the farther you are from your home, you can enhance the slope by removing more soil. Mark off a few feet from your house and dig up some of this soil. Regrading around your fountain should encourage water to flow away from your home and not collect or “pond.”

Multiple rules of thumb exist when discussing tree planting. When planting a tree, the best rule of thumb is to provide it with everything it needs to survive and thrive in its new environment. That may mean learning about the type of tree you're planting and studying the best methods of taking care of it before purchasing and planting.

During the fall, you’re likely to see foliage in stunning shades of orange, red, yellow, and brown. These colors emerge because of a seasonal decline in the pigment chlorophyll that makes leaves green.

A scattering of leaves won’t pose a problem through the winter, but a thicker layer of leaves may not decompose before the first frost and can instead weigh down your grass and harbor mold or fungi. A thick layer of leaves also cuts off light and air that grass needs to grow. That’s why we suggest removing thick leaf layers within several days if possible. If your lawn goes dormant over the winter and snow has already caught up with you, then remove the leaves in early spring before your grass-growing season starts so your lawn can thrive.

When planting, it's best to leave several feet between a house and a juniper bush. Many juniper varieties will become quite bushy and require space to grow. Juniper branches that come into contact with siding can damage the home's exterior over time. Also, some juniper bushes have aggressive roots that can put pressure on a home's foundation or basement walls.
