"Joe and his team from coastal renovations were one of the best experiences I have had on any renovation we have done on many homes we have owned. "I was noticing cracks in the ceiling and baseboards. I had Eagle Eye come and check my trailer to see if it was level. It was off 1/2 inch and they fixed it the same day. While they were under the trailer they noticed one of my heating vents had a huge crack in it. They took pictures and a video to show me. It was the weekend with very low temperatures. They came the next day, which was a Saturday, freezing and windy, they did the job for me because they didn’t want me being cold. I had a critter underneath and they checked around my house and found two holes that went underneath the crawl space. Covered the holes and no more critter. In my opinion, Eagle Eye construction is worth there weight in gold."

"We had a front and side porch replaced. The entire team worked together effortlessly. They were reliable, competent and preformed high quality workmanship. The work was completed in the time frame given and on budget. Most importantly were the open communications throughout the job. This was huge for me since I was unable to be present for most of the project. Thank you for all your hard work and professionalism. I highly recommend Accessible Home Builders. They were awesome!"

"Z, Came to my home in Wildwood Crest. He gave me a quote to remodel my laundry room. He was professional, efficient but most of all he gave us advice. He went above and beyond our expectations. The laundry room looks great. I had loose steps coming from my back deck to the yard. I ask Z if that was something he can do? He said, let me grab lunch and a couple tools to do the step and I’ll be back. He gave me a great price and the steps are perfect. Real good guy and very honest. Ray"

Subcontractors questions, answered by experts

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

The process typically takes 2-6 weeks, depending on the project size and level of customization.

Designing a building takes 2-6 months, depending on project size, required permits, and revisions.

Italianate architecture is a reinterpretation of Renaissance styles, combining elements of Italian farmhouses and villas with Victorian materials and construction. This home style emerged in the Victorian era, gaining popularity in the U.S. in the mid-to late-1800s. The style came about in response to what many then viewed as the too-rigid and stuffy Classical style designs.
