"Their customer service is first rate. The owner, Luke, answers all my texts and is always there for me. They are quick to respond and react, and, rapid to answer and act. I have been using CleanLiving for all of the 2019 and 2020 seasons. I depend on him and on his team of cleaners. They are my eyes and ears for my rental unit and have been superb. Because of his quality and excellence, the ratings on my property have received high marks for cleanliness, especially important during this 2020 year of the pandemic. You cannot beat the spontaneous unsolicited accolades from my Renters. THANK YOU to CleanLiving, Luke, the cleaning crews and to HomeAdvisor. YES. YES. YES. Use CLEANLIVING for all your cleaning needs."

"Excellent experience from start to finish! Tara called us back promptly to arrange a convenient date for us, and then arrived exactly when she said she would. She deep cleaned our house extremely thoroughly and took less time to do it than we thought possible (I had let it go for some time, so there was a LOT of buildup). Despite her whirlwind speed, Tara was extremely thorough, meticulous and organized. Plus her fee was far less than we expected it to be. She even brought her own cleaning supplies, which are another savings for the homeowner. We couldn't be happier and have now engaged her on a regular basis."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Do not clean paintbrushes or construction materials, such as grout-filled sponges, in your sink. These items can cause blockages in your pipes and lead to costly repairs.

As a general rule, you should clean your oven at least every three months, though this depends on how often you use it and the amount of residue buildup. A clear sign that your oven needs cleaning is if you notice smoke or a burning smell during use. Many ovens have a self-cleaning cycle, which heats the oven to an extreme temperature. If you use this feature, stay home while it runs and consider ventilating the room, as it can create smoke. For manual cleaning, you can make a paste of baking soda and water or use white vinegar before resorting to harsher, store-bought oven cleaners.

To maintain your mattress and keep it fresh, you should aim for a deep clean at least twice a year. However, if you have allergies, pets, or sweat heavily at night, you may want to clean it more frequently, such as every three to four months. In between deep cleanings, it's a good practice to vacuum the mattress surface regularly and spot-clean any stains as they occur. Using a mattress protector can significantly help by minimizing the buildup of allergens, dust mites, and bodily fluids, which can make your cleaning routine more effective. Remember to launder the protector regularly, as some dirt and sweat can still get through to the mattress.

You can use the baking soda and vinegar mixture as described above, or you can use an oven cleaner you find at a hardware or big-box store. Just follow the label’s cleaning instructions and keep cleaners away from coils and other heating elements.

Aside from rinsing your sink with dish soap daily, we recommend disinfecting your sink one to two times per week. You can make your own homemade cleaning spray and have it ready for your weekly cleanings. If you work with raw meat in your sink, make sure you wash the entire sink basin and drain with dish soap immediately after use.
