Something Constructive

I was very pleased with Something Constructive. Patsy is a great guy, very personable, and you quickly feel like family. He is creative, has a keen eye, and is a great problem solver. He and his crew are great – so pleasant and respectful. I actually enjoyed seeing them each day! They work together well, are meticulous – the work quality is excellent, and they were very neat. My neighbors were very impressed with how nicely they maintained the area while working. Patsy and his crew stayed on schedule and he is really good at keeping you posted along the way. I highly recommend!!!

We were very happy with Something Constructive. They were on time, very efficient and the foreman and crew worked seamlessly together. They got the structure up quickly. The neighbors were amazed! The General Contractor kept the project going smoothly and was attentive to what we wanted. It seems like the addition has always been there. His price was very reasonable. He quoted us a price of $50,288 but since we wanted to do a lot of the work and purchase the materials ourselves, he worked with us and we ended up paying him $29810.

It was a wonderful experience. These guys are hard workers. Communication is good. Work quality is excellent. The job came in, in terms of cost, as expected. They are reliable and pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend any day !!!

Patsy and his team delivered a beautiful deck on time and under budget. They worked hand in glove with A&V Landscaping from design to finished product to transform our backyard from a hill to a little piece of heaven. Patsy was easy to work with and did everything he said he would do. It was like we had a favorite uncle in the construction business. A terrific experience overall.

I think Patsy and his crew did a great job replacing the half of my deck that was not under roof in Milton, DE. That’s what the 2 key people onsite say, and it’s what I and others see in the pictures, 1 of which is attached. As this is a rental house, I’ll look soon, but they all say that the new deck is solid, safe, and looks great. Me and my rental agent say that Patsy is very easy to work with. I added a 14 X 18 sunroom on to my house during the middle of the pandemic. Patsy was professional and responsive. There were a couple of minor delays due to supply chain issues but Patsy was transparent about the delays and communicated frequently. The job was on budget with no surprises with regard to money. Regarding the cost of the room, my 14 X 18 room was 3,000 less than a neighbors 14 X 14 sunroom and mine was much nicer. I would definitely recommend Patsy and I would use him again for future projects.

The job went very well. We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Not only did Mr. Cicala and crew always showed up as promised and do a great job, he is super knowledgeable, helpful and creative.

It was excellent. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and excellent. The shed looked absolutely beautiful. The prices were good and reasonable. He was nice person. He was completely professional. He knew what he was doing.

Patsy was very understanding of our needs, proposed three designs, and discussed the merits/challenges of each with us. We decided on a switch back design, with an intermediate platform, that exits under the porch floor. This was the smallest footprint, and allowed for someone to stand on the threshold without crowding from the opened screen door. We are delighted with the outcome, and quality of workmanship as well as the respect the crew showed for our property.

Very well. These were complex jobs that involved placing support beams above the ceiling, but they managed through beautifully.

Super fantastically well. Patsy Cicala and his crew were excellent. The windows were custom and had a trapezoid shape and they installed them perfectly from beginning to end. They weren't replacing windows but instead creating new ones and had to cut through my wall. It took about 2 days since they worked all day long for both days. The windows look terrific and my home was cleaned up from the minor mess. Patsy and crew were wonderful to deal with. The price was incredibly fair. I would hire Patsy again without question. Plus, he is fun to be around!

The crew Patsy sent did an excellent job in installing the new door that we purchased. A fair amount of field fitting was required which they handled professionally. We are very pleased with the work and would hire again.

Patsy and team did a wonderful job with remodeling our master bathroom and updating fixtures in the quest bathroom. His estimate for labor came in under budget. Jacob and Ernesto are capable of doing any task assigned by Patsy. They removed a jacuzzi tub, stand-alone shower, tile flooring, all plumbing and electrical fixtures, and raised the vanities to 35 inch height. The pictures attached show the end result of which we are very pleased, and thankful for Patsy's patience and guidance throughout the process. We would highly recommend Patsy along with Jacob and Ernesto. They work very well together as a team.
