"The quality of the work was exceptional. Before we left for vacation, we packed up the contents of shelves and other furniture. Kustom Floors prepped a small area of one floor with three different stains so we could choose one ourselves. During the two weeks we were away, Kustom Floors moved out all the furniture, made several small repairs to the oak floors, and completely refinished the oak floors on the main level of our home (except for one very new floor in one room) and installed the new linoleum in the basement. After we returned, Kustom Floors re-finished the stairs to the basement and took care of some minor details. Kustom Floors delayed the work on the basement stairs to allow us the opportunity to select a stain and otherwise have input into that part of the project. Kustom Floors gave us the information we needed to select the protective coatings for the floors and we chose the higher priced commercial grade water-based product. We are highly satisfied with the results. We can feel the grain of the wood in the floor and nothing feels like it is coated in plastice. Furthermore, the floors can be buffed and re-coated in the future without having to be sanded again."
