My son used Kustom Floors to refinish his 40-year-old hardwood oak floors. Jimmy and his team sanded the floors and stairs, meticulously replaced boards where there was a squeak, and refinished them with a beautiful satin finish.  In addition, they installed new baseboard throughout the house.  The window shades, built-in cabinets, and shelves were carefully covered to reduce dust, so when they left, the floors were clean and minimum dusting was required. Not only are they experts in their field, but their attention to detail and pride in their work are apparent in the work that they do.  

Kustoms Floors LLC did an excellent professional job renovating our primary bathroom. Rudy and his team were extremely diligent in the completion of each step of the renovation process. The project was completed within the project timeline. Rudy provided both technical and ascetic design guidance when questions regarding quartz colors/style, shower door placement, and other material placement questions arose. We have recommended Kustom Floors to friends for their renovation projects. We plan on having Kustom Floors LLC work on other renovation projects at our home.

I spoke to Rudy on 10 May 2025 with questions on correcting some squeaky floors in a couple areas on my 20-year old flooring. Rudy was EXTREMELY helpful in providing excellent advice. Even when I indicated I may not want the work done (due to my inability to vacate the house to allow for the odors to dissipate), he stayed on the phone call (on a Saturday) to suggest several ways to move forward with correcting the issue. I can't say enough of how polite and thorough he was to include providing me rough cost estimates for the work that would allow me to plan. I will definitely use this company if I move on with the projects based on Rudy's excellent customer service!

We have soft pine floors on the first floor of our house that had not been treated since 2008. Two dogs & lots of family traffic had left them badly scuffed, with some boards creaking & loose, small corners breaking away & a few holes. Rudy & his crew restored the floors to pristine condition, holes tastefully filled, the grain showing beautifully, tight & hard. They were prompt, efficient & responsive. We are very pleased.

George and Orlando executed the work within the agreed timeframe and theirs, was an impeccable service, with attention to detail and the most care for the results and respect for their surroundings and my furniture and decor at my condo unit; they explained every step of their work very clearly and were extremely efficient in their use of time, handling of tools and parts and very knowledgeable about their craft. Overall an excellent job, I’m very satisfied and would recommend or hire them again should I need professional services on their scope.

Rudy and his team did an excellent job of replacing water damaged wooden floor in our kitchen. He has an eye for detail and his vast experience in flooring showed as he inspected the damage. I was also incredibly impressed with the workers who too the time and care to protect the floors in our house and our belongings from dust. Work was done perfectly and house was left in perfect condition. Would use again for any flooring need without question.

I generally think contractors will cut corners to save time/money, especially if they think the customer won't notice. But I notice and insist that things be done properly. Rudy recognized water damage on my hardwood floors. With his expertise I was able to fix the underlying problem before my floors were repaired. He provided the most meticulous and detailed estimate of several companies. My civil engineer friend reviewed his plans and agreed that he is a quality contractor. Rudy and his team installed new plywood and hardwood in the damaged area, refinished and also installed new hardwood in two bedrooms. The result is spectacular. I highly recommend Kustom Floors.

Rudy responded quickly to my request for a quote to refinish all of the hardwood floors in my house. When he came to my house, we also talked about them also doing a small kitchen remodel and replacing my banisters. I thought he had some good ideas but a week later I still have not received a quote from him. It’s quite disappointing because it appears they do good work. I can’t recommend this company.

Can only say it simply - these are the guys you want working on your house. Rudy, Jimmy and his team transformed the bottom floor of our house and made it new. The town home had an old ceramic tile in the kitchen that was replaced by Kustom Floors with beautiful hardwood. Rudy matched the wood perfectly with the rest of the house and then laid it in the original floor. You can't even tell where the new floor begins, it is integrated that perfectly. His team then leveled the new floor perfectly. Kustom floors also re-finished the stairs and added new hand rails to the side and a new banister. It looks beautiful and I love it every day. Jimmy (Rudy's brother) and Rudy went the extra mile to help us, adding concrete to gaps in our old house to help with insulation. They treated this house like it was their own and treated us like family. I can't thank Kustom Floors, Rudy and Jimmy enough for the amazing work they did. These are the guys you want working on your house.

Excellent job. They did a great job blending the repaired section to the original floor and you cannot even tell that they replaced the floor boards. They were on time, quick and hardly any dust.
