"David was genuinely nice and extremely professional. I am always hesitant when hiring someone because you want to be sure they are trustworthy and reliable. David was that and beyond. He was very helpful with all my questions. He put together my dining room furniture as well as my island stool chairs. Not only was he great at putting everything together, he offered some valuable advice and answered all my questions. I would hire David and his team anytime and will definitely refer him to my friends and family. It is so difficult to let someone in your home much less find someone reasonable. With David he is not going to nickel and dime you and honestly his prices were just right for my budget. I also would not refer someone to my family and friends without knowing for sure they were honest and reliable. Thank you I do not always write reviews unless someone is exceptional and David was. And if you are wondering. no, I was not paid to submit this review nor did I know David before I hired him so please consider my honest review based on how my experience was with the repairs he completed at my home."

"I hired Adam and his team to frame and install my new kitchen including framing out a new pantry in a very difficult space as well as install a slider and reconfigure some walls. I am so pleased with the result. His attention to detail and work ethic are a rare find. "We hire HM Construction to remodel our very old and outdated kitchen and adjoining bathroom. HM Construction previously worked on our den, and it was a no-brainer to go with them again for the next big project. HM's quote was fair and there were no hidden costs along the way. Helio is incredibly responsive and is always able to fairly address any issues that may arise during construction. HM got us in touch with a designer who came up with a floor plan that we never would have thought of otherwise. Our kitchen was a huge project and the results are unbelievable. The workmanship is top notch and we could not be happier. HM is trustworthy, fair, and does excellent work. We could not more highly recommend HM Construction for any home project."

"In January, we quoted max with 2 other contractors. He did was not the cheapest nor most expensive, but had the best reviews and had the best insight. Phase 1 of the project was to renovate an original kitchen for a Colonial Split Ranch Home and replace a load bearing wall. Max was open to working with our supplied cabinets and counter top and appliances and tile. Not only was Max capable of doing the typical kitchen renovation but our architect unexpectedly recommended Max install a 1 ton load bearing beam across half the house to replace the load bearing wall and reinforce the post underneath in the 1st floor. Max and his team were able to take care of this more advanced work. We had some unexpected electrical work also, but Max and his electrician Isaac were able to take care of all our needs and work together efficiently. Phase 2 of the project was our full bathroom renovation adjoining the kitchen and update electrical, plumbing and crown molding. He was open to us picking out and providing fixtures like faucets, shower systems, and Max took care of everything else. Everything went as planned here and everyone was pleased with the results. Max was hands down the best contractor we have worked with. He and his team were efficient, professional, got the job done on time. His main strength was his great communication and willingness to make everything correct. He was willing to take calls out of business hours and even on weekends when we were in crunch time. With most renovations, unexpected things can come up, but he was willing to work and strategize with us to get a job done. An small example was when some of his painters had some issues paint matching, and the color did not turn out well. Max took care of this and corrected it at cost. I have no negatives for Max at all. I suppose the only thing I wish I could change was he wasn't as busy so he can start helping us with next project :)"

"Bill came over and looked at my basement gave me a quote. I had 3 other quotes but not from Angie’s List. Bills was the best quote. He also noticed I had a water problem and my sub pump was not working correctly and he recommended Connecticut basement. I also contacted them. Thanks to Bill now I have a new basement and a lifetime warranty from Connecticut basement for my sub pump and water leak. If it wasn’t for Bill my basement would still have water problems."
