"David was genuinely nice and extremely professional. I am always hesitant when hiring someone because you want to be sure they are trustworthy and reliable. David was that and beyond. He was very helpful with all my questions. He put together my dining room furniture as well as my island stool chairs. Not only was he great at putting everything together, he offered some valuable advice and answered all my questions. I would hire David and his team anytime and will definitely refer him to my friends and family. It is so difficult to let someone in your home much less find someone reasonable. With David he is not going to nickel and dime you and honestly his prices were just right for my budget. I also would not refer someone to my family and friends without knowing for sure they were honest and reliable. Thank you I do not always write reviews unless someone is exceptional and David was. And if you are wondering. no, I was not paid to submit this review nor did I know David before I hired him so please consider my honest review based on how my experience was with the repairs he completed at my home."

"Adam and his team (Marco and Danny) are excellent! Removed old kitchen cabinets and granite counter top, put up new drywall and installed new cabinets with precision (my countertop is now level!), and they tiled backsplash. His communication with logistics/timing was spot on. He and his team worked efficiently to get the job done and quality of work is top notch. I would absolutely hire them again."

"Very well, Damon and his nephew Jay were very meticulous with the work they did and cleaned up every day. They removed an old fiber glass tub/shower enclosure in our guest bathroom and installed a better tub and tiled the surround, replaced plumbing hardware. Downstairs they removed an ugly slate floor from our foyer and powder room and retiled with a lighter more modern look. I provided the materials."

"We hire HM Construction to remodel our very old and outdated kitchen and adjoining bathroom. HM Construction previously worked on our den, and it was a no-brainer to go with them again for the next big project. HM's quote was fair and there were no hidden costs along the way. Helio is incredibly responsive and is always able to fairly address any issues that may arise during construction. HM got us in touch with a designer who came up with a floor plan that we never would have thought of otherwise. Our kitchen was a huge project and the results are unbelievable. The workmanship is top notch and we could not be happier. HM is trustworthy, fair, and does excellent work. We could not more highly recommend HM Construction for any home project."

"Gene and the boys are amazing contractors and are our go to when there is work that needs to be done on our home. They remodeled our basement, and did a custom builtin to house our 180 gal fish tank. They removed a wall to make the basement more open space. Not only that but they did it cleanly, efficiently and in an amazing turn around time. They also more recently helped to fix our crown molding around our fridge in order for us to buy a bigger one and it looks exactly like the rest of our kitchen. "Max and his team of professionals completed the job well under budget, timely, and may I add looks gorgeous. 3 other contractors wanted nearly double the price but we are glad we with Max Construction. The job included removing a window and installing a sliding patio door, installing wainscoting in the dining and living room, and installing a brand new front door with sidelite (I did not have sidelights prior). I now have curb appeal and a gorgeous interior!!! "We interviewed four companies for our project. Hilltop Remodeling wasn't the most expensive or the least expensive. Bill, the owner, is very personable and we liked him right off. He and his crew are very professional and completed the job in a timely manner. They removed a tub in our sons' bathroom. They expanded, built, plumbed, and tiled a new shower stall. Hilltop also re-grouted our tile and painted the bathroom and our son's bedroom. We are very happy with the results and would rehire Hilltop Remodeling again."

"John did outstanding job finishing basement in our house. He provided contract at the beginning of the project with the job descriptions and prizing. The prizing was reasonable. He strictly honors the contract. He worked personally with Livingston city authorities for job permit. John spent a lot of time with the city inspectors and completed all their recommendations. Work was done in very professional manner without any deficiencies. We are very happy! Definitely, recommend this company services to our relatives and friends"

"My wife and I DO NOT use anyone who is not on Angie's List so we understand the importance of having accurate, fair reviews. We found Cary on Angie's List with overall great feedback on jobs he had done so we called him in for an estimate. Despite being very busy, he made the time to come over on a Saturday morning. He had previously dropped by and assessed the damage from the outside but needed to see it from the inside to ensure he could judge it accurately. After 15 minutes, our fears were realized and he said he would need to remove the cedar impression siding and remove the roof and replace it with a different system because the pitch wasn't steep enough. 
Within 48 hours, he provided a quote for his crew to come out and get the work done in a single day which was completely reasonable. He completed the work (guaranteed) as promised and left the site immaculate. He took pictures of the issue, of job progress and of the completed job. He mentioned he went around and filled some other issues he noticed while he was waiting for his crew to wrap up, no charge at all. He then discounted the quoted, agreed price 5% for angie's list deal I wasn't even aware of. Have you ever heard of a contractor accept less than an agreed price? Me neither.
Angie's List is a great resource for people to share experiences. I think the contractors who are honest and reasonable should be applauded too. We have been on the receiving end of some really lousy service so this was a new experience having someone do what they promised to do. Cary and his crew are the best in Monmouth County. We already have him pricing out finishing a storage space and will use him to build our deck in the spring. I cannot recommend Cary enough and you can reach me through Cary if you'd like to see his work firsthand.
