The carpenter that did the job (Adam) was amazing. He had to expand the space for one window, narrow the space for another, and repair much cedar siding that had rotted away due to water damage. He also reshaped my patio door so it would close and lock more easily. He is a very talented carpenter and I have no qualms about highly recommending him.

I hired Adam and his team to frame and install my new kitchen including framing out a new pantry in a very difficult space as well as install a slider and reconfigure some walls. I am so pleased with the result. His attention to detail and work ethic are a rare find. I would recommend anyone needing any carpentry, framing, windows and doors work to contact him, you will not be disappointed.

Removed old kitchen cabinets and granite counter top, put up new drywall and installed new cabinets with precision (my countertop is now level!), and they tiled backsplash. My wife and I hired Lasting Strength for a gut renovation of the main bathroom in our house. Our experience was nothing short of excellent. Adam and his team are talented and respectful. They were constantly communicating with us during the entire process to discuss ideas and confirm the plan / our vision for the space. They were able to come up with a solution to repair it that didn't inconvenience us and it prevented a huge problem developing later. My husband and I hired Lasting Strength after a very stressful experience dealing with a previous contractor who did a terrible job remodeling our bathroom--specifically a horrible shower tile job. Adam came to our house to give us an estimate within the week and began work three days later. He was extremely detail-oriented and skilled. He and his associate Danny repaired our bathroom tile work and also did our planned kitchen reno. He did all the carpentry/cabinet work in the kitchen and suggested ideas of how to handle some challenging issues in our kitchen. He executed brilliantly on all these things and left our new kitchen looking exactly as we dreamed it would look. He also recommended a skilled electrician and plumber who we worked with for the other aspects of the kitchen renovation. We were incredibly satisfied with all the work done on our kitchen and bathroom so we asked Adam to repair some rotted wood in our main door entryway area. The wood rot and damage was significantly more extensive than we originally thought, but Adam and Danny did a great job repairing the structural damage and then laid tile over the repaired area. A beautiful tile job, by the way! We couldn't be happier with our home renovation and with our decision to hire Lasting Strength. In addition to being top-knotch professionals, Adam and Danny are also extremely friendly and always willing to go the extra mile for my home. My family will be keeping Adam's number for any future home needs we have. We HIGHLY recommend Lasting Strength.

I hired Lasting Strength to repair a wooden deck on my 1983 North Stamford house. What appeared to be a minor repair turned out to be a major job involving a complete tear done and rebuilding of the deck. Adam and his partner Danny performed this complex task in a professional and timely manner and I was charged a fair price. Since I was very pleased with their performance, I re-hired them for a second project.

We bought a 1950s house that needed a lot of updating and Adam and his team were responsible for taking down a wall between the living room and kitchen as well as building custom built ins for the living room and around the fireplace. All of the work was beautifully and expertly done and we have received compliments from everyone who has seen it. Throughout the project, we were consistently impressed by his attention to detail and his knowledge of what would and would not work. He went above and beyond ensuring our project was his focus and even coming by on weekends as needed. Unprompted he even acted as general contractor to other work going on prior to our moving in. We hope to use him for additional projects and would highly recommend him for any project.

We used Lasting Strength to perform a major renovation on a 1950's basement living/bathroom area. The project was literally a complete tear down and start back over. Adam & his team of professionals were attentive to all details, such as plumbing/electrical and accommodating daily life needs. They worked around our schedules and also accommodated the management of the project via the use of technology (FaceTime, text, email), which allowed for quick decision making and allowed us to view items as they were found. From the plumbers, Sheetrock, painting, and electrical - the final product is exemplary!

We hired Adam to install exterior doors. From his first consultation we knew he was the guy for the job. He spoke knowledgeably about the task and explained everything that needed to be done. During the install he came across a few other issues and brought them to my attention with a resolution. He did such a great job installing the doors that we used him for a few other jobs around the house. Adam and Dan were extremely professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. We will be hiring them again in the future!

This is my first time to write on Home Advisor and I rarely write review. One simple advice: Use Lasting Strength! Adam is the best! Adam helped me build an interior wall and installed a window and a door on it. This wall will separate the play room into another bedroom. Adam and his assistant Danny showed up early and finished the work by the end of the day as promised. He really knows what he's doing! He's been working in his area for many years and his tool belt is probably older than me:) He used to work as the head of a big crew to build an entire house from scratch. I believe he has talent as carpentry. The project was top notch, flawless! Adam also has a full crew including plumber, HVAC, painter. I would definitely trust his guys on the other projects as well. Adam is a funny guy when I first met him but extremely serious about the work. He's working damn hard. My mom kept reminding him to have lunch first. But Adam keeps working without eating anything until he completed the work. Also, they cleaned my place after the work and left it like untouched:) Adam is smart to solve problem. There is a ceiling light that the new wall will have to pass through. It will be very expensive to hire an electrician to just simply move it. I met a guy who wants to charge me $500 for just moving the light when I was getting quote... But Adam found a smart way to leave the light untouched by building the wall just a little off the existing wall. It also turned out to look great! He completely understand my tight budget because we just moved in. And his quote is very reasonable and fair:) I've met about 20 companies before Adam for the same work (some from Home Advisor as well), some say this job would take 3-4 days to complete. They probably don't know what they are doing... And most of guys who came over are contractor and will subcontract the work to other people. So some quotes are way off... They dont do the work themselves. It's hard for me to trust them. But Adam is the real guy who does the real work. He's a funny guy. I like him. I made my decision by feeling, and so glad I made the right choice. So I highly recommend Adam and his team on any project they do. And personally I will recommend any my friends' project to him in the future:) I'm still waiting for him for another small project. See you guys soon!

Outstanding craftsmanship with a tremendous work ethic. Adam and John paid attention to the smallest of details and answered all of my questions. Unlike other contractors Adam listened to what I wanted and didn't try to increase the cost. It was a pleasure having Adam do the job.
