"Excellent communication and very responsive. Also very considerate, including wearing booties in the house to avoid additional footprints on our floors. We would be happy to do business with The Cleaners and Builders LLC again in the future."

"Bob Reicher came to my house,  took measurements and then went with me
to Loew's to choose the right door on a Saturday afternoon and he then
picked up the door  on Monday, November 11th, a holiday, and he and his
employee installed the sliding glass door all in one day.  He is exceptionally
accurate and neat in his work.
The building is 30 years old and I know it took my neighbor 2 days to install their door due to an improper fitting.; however Bob
had no problems fitting my door.  It fit perfectly the first time and they completed the job in less than 6 hours, because he took accurate measurements beforehand. He knew exactly what he was doing.
He had one worker with him and both were precise, polite, and professional.
Several years ago Mr. Reicher also put on my back deck.  And then too he took  accurate measurements and was the only contractor to submit a precise drawing to the Condo Assoicatiion and the Building Inspector.
I would highly recommend Bob Reicher for any construction project he chooses.

"In the Spring of 2018 we hired Matt Willett to rebuild sections of our home due to mass devastation due to a Tornado that touch down in the Bethany Ct. The project which consist of rebuilding a very large deck, rebuild the master bedroom and rebuild the roof line on each end of the house where two large trees fell upon. His work was very well done, on time and on budget. Matt was a real pleasure to work with and his professionalism, skill and ability to work with a homeowner was evident. I would not hesitate to recommend Matt Willett for a construction job of this type. Matt kept a very neat and organized work site and his skillset as a carpenter were most evident. He was always on time and explained all aspects of the project. We would definitely hire Matt again for future renovations/ home improvement projects. Cassie Fedeli / Patti Baker"

Home Building questions, answered by experts

The early stages of building a house are harder than the later stages; laying the foundation and framing the house are two of the most challenging steps. However, it varies for everyone. Some people have difficulty installing HVAC, plumbing, and electricity, while others find it harder to plan the house and secure the necessary permits.

One of the best ways to negotiate with a homebuilder is to forgo price reductions. Instead, negotiate over upgrades and incentives, as many builders are more willing to go down that road than to decrease their own fee. Even if they were willing to take a cut, a reputable homebuilder often knows their worth, so a willingness to negotiate could be a red flag. Beyond that, builders are typically willing to negotiate closing costs instead of offering a discount on the base price.

Buying a house is easier than building one from scratch. Buying an existing home is almost always faster, even if you need to make renovations once you move in. When you hire the right team to build a home, they will simplify the design and build phases so that there is little guesswork throughout the process, but building new construction will almost always take longer than buying an existing home.

A-frame homes are on the smaller side. While there’s no set square footage amount it has to be, it will usually come in around 1,000 square feet or smaller.

If you want to make your home eco-friendly, enjoy low maintenance, and love the fact that its looks will take people’s breath away (and not because they were trying to blow your house down), then a modern brick home is right for you. You can hire a mason to get the building process started for your brick home.

But if you’re not fond of the color and don’t want to deal with the process of repointing or other repairs, consider going with vinyl or wood. These materials offer a lower cost. While they tend to require more maintenance, they don’t cost nearly the same as exterior brick house repair.
