He gave me a very reasonable cost estimate. Unfortunately, upon removal of the old steps insect damage to the framing structure was discovered. He was not deterred by this change in the scope of the project. My house was built in 1896 and nothing is standard about the construction, complicating the work. He managed to find a way to resolve all the problems and I am very happy with the result. We worked out a very reasonable adjustment to the original estimate to cover the extra materials and labor. I would highly recommend him. I intend to call on him in the future for other work."

"The end result was that it turned out fine. However painting does not appear to be their primary job. There were some things I expected painters to do that seem to be miscommunicated including removing everything from the walls rather than paint around, the fact that when he said I was responsible for all materials that included the plastic furniture covers. I should have requested a written estimate to avoid any miscommunication."
