He did remove everything and replaced with a new Trex boards all for price which was reasonable. The quality of work was excellent including how he waterproofed the structural frame. The estimate he gave me was the same as had already been quoted by another well-rated roofer, so it seemed that was a reasonable price. He and his crew (sons?) arrived this morning and will finish the job today, stripping and reshingling a sizable area of roof where solar panels are going to be installed.
